The Military Industrial Complex just got another influx of corporate welfare after the U.S. Congressional War Criminals overwhelmingly approved $40bn more dollars to go to the death merchants to further increase tensions between WashedUp, DeCeit and Moscow.
To be fair, Sloppy Joe ONLY asked for $33bn, but the ever-invested (the MIC either invests in bribing Congress and/or members are also invested in the war machine) Congress saw a chance to increase their own fortunes and show allegiance to their paymasters.
With the U.S. economy in tatters; the dollar losing its influence and value all over the world; citizens suffering from the complications/crimes of the covid lockdowns, mandates, school closures, etc, the friggin’ U.S. Congress should be meeting to figure out how to solve these problems, not to “cross the aisle” to agree completely and to collaborate with each other on how to murder more people.
To make matters even worse, here in the U.S., we have a president who appears to be operating in advanced stages of senility. Knowing several people who, unfortunately, suffered from Alzheimer’s or other reduced mental capacities due to aging, I wouldn’t want any of their fingers on the nuclear buttons. Also, to be fair I wouldn’t trust that horrible responsibility to my best-friend. The ability to destroy life on Planet Earth should not exist, nor should the capability belong to a handful of corrupt/psychopathic politicians. Note: I wouldn’t trust Joe Biden even if he weren’t in obvious mental decline.
When Biden withdrew U.S. troops from Afghanistan, I thought to myself, “Well, I wonder where the U.S. will be concentrating the majority of its evil forces, now?” Of course, Biden’s handlers have been softening up minds for the past two years in a very intense fear campaign against the enemy: Coronavirus. However, for the past eight-years the Hillary wing of the Dems also have been spreading lies about Russia and its leader Putin. It makes me wonder if the end game here has always been about annihilating the majority of life on earth?
Cindy, you write very well; and I agree with you 99.99% of the time.
Please keep doing what you're doing. You're an inspiration to me, because you are fearless and speak your mind.
Well said, Cindy, with the added irony that it was only Republicans who voted against sending these funds to the war machine; All the Demoncrats were all for it... See this by Glenn Greenwald: https://greenwald.substack.com/p/the-bizarre-unanimous-dem-support-426
