From Rolling Corpse to the Grave
In other news, Democrats announce Dianne Feinstein will still serve out her term as California Senator, as they expect no change in her ability to carry out her duties...
“Just say ‘aye’”
The Corrupt Legacy of a Senator
I am not trying to old-shame, or sick-shame anyone, but why did Feinstein roll back into the Senate after her lengthy illness which caused her to miss months of Senate Sessions? The people around her, like the people around Sloppy Joe and Glitch McConnell, should be arrested for elder abuse. Why won’t these clearly corrupt, wealthy, and power insane people just go away?
Di Fi’s political career began when, as the president of the powerful San Francisco Board of Supervisors, she was elevated to mayor after sugar-high Dan White murdered Mayor George Moscone and fellow Supervisor Harvey Milk. Since then, she has been a controversial figure in American politics. She was the first woman to be elected mayor (outright) of San Francisco and has served as a United States Senator from California for thirty years. After many illnesses, possibly exacerbated by vax injury, passed away recently, leaving behind a checkered legacy. While many establishment figures laud her as a trailblazer, others have pointed out that her tenure as a senator was mired in corruption and self-interest.
Profiteering
Feinstein's business interests have been a central source of controversy throughout her career. She and her husband Richard Blum, a real estate investor, have benefited immensely from their connections to government contracts and insider deals. For example, Blum received a contract to oversee the sale of post offices in California, despite an obvious conflict of interest. Similarly, Feinstein has been criticized for her role in allocating funds to companies in which her husband has invested. It is difficult to separate her actions as a senator from her personal financial gain.
How Dianne Feinstein's Net Worth Has Grown in Her 31 Years as Senator
Military-Industrial Complex
Feinstein has also made a name for herself as an advocate for the military-industrial complex. During her time in the Senate, she served on the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, which allocates funds for defense programs. She has been a staunch supporter of the F-35 fighter jet program, despite its high cost and questionable effectiveness. Furthermore, she has used her power to funnel government contracts to companies in her home state, such as Lockheed Martin. Feinstein has been accused of placing the interests of these corporations above the needs of the American people.
Wars and War Funding
Another troubling aspect of Feinstein's legacy is her support for wars and war funding. She was a vocal supporter of the Iraq War and voted for the resolution that authorized the invasion. She also voted for the Patriot Act, which has been used to justify numerous violations of civil liberties. Additionally, she has consistently voted to increase military spending and to fund controversial programs like drone strikes and surveillance. Feinstein's willingness to put her name behind these violent and costly initiatives raises serious questions about her commitment to public service.
Dianne Feinstein's legacy is a complex one, but it is impossible to deny the role that corruption played in her tenure as a senator. Her profiteering and close ties to the military-industrial complex are troubling, as are her unwavering support for wars and war funding. As we reflect on her passing, we must not overlook these important issues. Instead, we should use them as a reminder of the need for ethical and accountable government.
Many people have the nonsensical notion that when someone dies, the chance to criticize them has also passed. I have seen it over, and over, when, for example, war criminals like Colin Powell, John McCain, Donald Rumsfeld, die, we are told to “respect the dead.” Why? Did they live positive lives of service? No, they were responsible for mass-murder and personal profiteering.
Also, there will be enough fake eulogies and phony hero worship for everyone who needs that.
Let the kudos for this toxic life begin, but we won’t forget.
Interesting speculation: Will my Guru Kammie be appointed as California Senator (by Gavin) to fulfill the remainder of Di’s term? A new Garbage Person like Gavin, Hillary, or Michelle be appointed to serve Kammie’s term as VP? Then, of course, Sloppy Joe will die/step down and the major problem for the DNC will be solved?
So much of her checkered career can be noted here, but Substack has a length limit, like our lives, we cannot infinitely go on.

I agree with the elder abuse charges, start with babysitter Jill.
I’m surprised her “handlers” didn't stuff her and play “Weekend at Bernie’s.”
