I was buying some groceries yesterday at a local store and there was a new clerk at the checkout lane. She very quickly revealed her leanings when she said that Newsolini ruined the state during Covid! Yea! A sister in arms. The store was not busy, so we had a chance to vent with each other.
She has two jobs to survive in S-Hole California. I work hard on all my side gigs and Social Security to try and make those ends reach closer to each other, they will never meet. Besides me being excited to have another person to rant with, why is this vignette relevant to today’s post? We both agreed we wanted to move out of this S-Hole, but, our families are here AND, we are stuck in a Catch-22: We can’t afford to live here and we can’t afford to leave. We pay the highest taxes in the country (except for maybe Taxachussetts), and instead of using that money to help prioritize public safety and a Golden State state of health, welfare, education, and other positive things, they are appropriating money to sue Trump. Geez, fuckers (excuse my French)
