Phil passed away on August 18. I ran in to him from time to time on the protest circuit and the thing that I noticed about him, is that he was just a very nice man: attractive, charismatic, and, deeply interested in people.
In 2003, Phil was famously fired from his show on MSNBCia during the run up to the invasion of Iraq. To the belligerent, war-frenzied media of that time, he was questioning the propaganda. Can’t have that when they all wanted the war that murdered my son and over a million more people.
Anyway, I have no idea how Phil felt about the shamdemic or the clotshot, but, he was always a gentleman to me.
He did receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom from The Cadaver in Chief a few months before his death. Ugh. We need freedom from the political establishment, IMHO, but, oh well, Phil.
Someone brought the below video to my attention and if you go to about the 5-minute mark, there is a clip of Phil defending me to that scoundrel, non-gentlemanly Bill O’Liar who admits to leading the charge to marginalize me. I will always be grateful to Phil for this, and for his life of caring.

RIP, Phil Donahue. They don't make TV personalities like that anymore. He was a rare gem.
(And wow, what a slimeball Bill O'Liar is!)
Bill O’Reilly is dumb and despicable. Donahue will be remembered as an honest compassionate grown up who had integrity and courage. The hope for our country to rise up and do what needs to be done rests with the younger generations of people who hopefully will themselves become as strong and organized and passionate about justice as you have been and still are. My generation is too old and for the most part too steeped in the past to do much to stop the collapse. Organizing and persistence requires energy and strength. Thank you for all you have done day after day to help us all to wake up. 💡
