I, too, do not believe the official House/Senate Committees and FEMA/NIST reports on 9/11. How horrifying to accept that your own country killed 3,000+ people to usher in a 23+ year war on terror. But then I realize it is one more horrific act of the USA to murder thousands of people to usher in war--the Maine, Pearl Harbor, Gulf of Tonkin, WMDs in Iraq, Operation Gladio, Ukraine. And these horrific acts will not end until the USA empire ends.

I was looking forward to 9/11/01 as I knew a press conference had been callled by Vincent Bugliosi, Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr and other prosecutors and members of Congress for that morning as the press had conintued the Florida counting in spite of the 12/12/00 decision. Bob Fertik of Democrats.com was sending out notices of the planned event which was aimed at removal of Bush from office as it was known that he had lost Florida by a wide margin. When I was awakened with the news, my first question was "Did Bush do it?" I never bought the official story. My daughter, who was ten at the time, wrote a poem, called "There Are None So Blind." Here's what she wrote:

There Are None So Blind:

By Natasha H., age 10

Bigotry is when we blame

An ethnic group for our shame;

To point our fingers and assume

Leads invariably to doom.

When tragedy comes into view,

Don't become the terrorist too;

The sacrificial lambs accused

Don't deserve to be abused.

Surely we must care for all

Or surely everyone will fall;

No future more will be our fate

If foreigners we treat with hate.

To blame the Arabs or the Jews

Will only cost our lives in dues;

Cause all who label ethnic groups

Become some brand new Hitler's dupes.

To find out whose responsible

Look inside you if that's possible;

For your own failure and inaction

May be the real cause of all reactions.

When we fail to clean our house,

We can't go out and blame some mouse;

When we let DEMOCRACY die,

We can kiss all hopes and dreams good-bye.
