The DSA of which Mandani is a member are a complete joke. Still requiring masking at their meetings and actively promoting genital mutilation surgery for youth while neglecting to even promote universal health care. These are the same folks who gave you AOC, a fashion model posing as a “progressive” politician who will not even actively oppose the Israeli genocidal state.
That said, if I lived in NYC I would likely vote for him to send a message to the establishment. And his popularity amongst the youth seems a healthy sign.
