It's not that Tylenol gets into the baby through the placenta but that it is toxic garbage and damages liver function in the mother leading to worse nutrition in the fetus.
I don't fkin understand why that crap was OTC for so long. It should have been banned or made prescription only way back.
Even 2 decades ago I knew to avoid anything with acetaminophen because it was known to cause liver issues.
My neighbor's wife was recently diagnosed with cirrhosis. The doctor asked her how much alcohol she drank. Little to nothing... He was perplexed until she mentioned that she was taking Tylenol for her migraines.
Our medical system is clearly an IDIOCRACY.
