During COVID, I thought that we were headed into a V for Vendetta world where we would be locked down and separated.
Children of men had that too but for different reasons.
Do we need the population like children of men needed?
Perhaps less birth leads to brave new world where things are more automated (ai, etc)?
We don't need the working class labor or the white collar labor.
Currently the biggest reason for less birth is economic. Two incomes can barely afford what one could a few decades ago.
Perhaps people will be given opportunities to raise kids instead of work. Maybe it'll be communal?
