So, over three years ago, the last action we were able to organize was called Rage Against the War Machine—-you can see the deets in the above banner.
We guess that there is another action coming up this month called “Rage Against the War Machine.” We guess, because we haven’t been officially notified, invited, or even had emails or text messages returned from organizers that we worked with in 2019.
Sigh—-our convo this week is a deep dive into the politics behind movements: personalities, funding, reasons for existing, etc.
It’s one thing to copy someone else’s action, but another thing to intentionally ghost organizers and other leaders in a very dysfunctional and disrespectful way.
However, We wish the organizers and attendees of the copy cat Rage the best of luck and we hope the wars end the next day.
