In the tragedy of the Maui cluster-fudge, the political reality is that Hawai’i votes overwhelmingly democratic and that obviously didn’t help them. The other political reality is that this will probably be the case in 2024, as well.
Joe Biden did not get a warm Aloha when he visited Maui the other day, because few people there can even focus on elections, at this point, when the rubble is being sifted through to find anything that might yield some chance of identification. Right now that’s the reality, but will they remember when Dopey Joe compared their tragedy to the potential loss of a “‘67 Corvette” or when he fell asleep during a meeting with survivors?
We at SheeLilly are devastated by the devastation and are sending our warm thoughts, but we wish we could do more.
When will we stand up to our abusers and stop being sp co-dependent with them? Good question, huh?
Shee (Cindy Sheehan) Lilly (Dakotah Lilly) frequently talk about other communities who did just that and are having success in breaking the chains that bind them to the abuser-class.
