Today, I have the pleasure of presenting a special Soapbox Podcast with Francesco Da Vinci, an author, and filmmaker, who gained CO status, in a years long campaign against being drafted into the blood bath that was the US war against Vietnam, that was ultimately victorious.
Included in this episode is the premiere of the song: “I Refuse to Kill,” a collaboration between Francesco and singer/songwriter Janine Ayres.
In the interview, Francesco and I talk about the resistance to the Vietnam War, and what we need to do as a society to foster peace.
It’s not easy, but it’s not hard, either, if we’re willing to put in the necessary work.

Stay-tuned for the Soapbox Podcast with Francesco Da Vinci (lovely, lyrical name), which will be posted 5/09.
