The buzz word “Democracy” has become an empty slogan pushed by authoritarians. How did the US become a “democracy” and why doesn’t this word appear in any of our founding documents? In a democracy, 51% of the people can decide to eat the other 49% and constitutionally secured individual rights are non existent. The US is a constitutional republican NOT A DEMOCRACY and we have INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS.....THE SMALLEST MINORITY IS THE INDIVIDUAL and minority groups cannot possibly have rights without individual rights.
