The Ghoulish Legacy of Barack Obama by Cindy Sheehan
“On January 20th I will become the first President of the United States to serve two full terms during a time of war.” —@POTUS
— The White House (@WhiteHouse) December 6, 2016
The above is an actual TWEET of a line from a speech that Barack Obama gave at MacDill AFB on December 6th.
The reaction of the crowd was to cheer for that line, but even though the superstar Obama can't control what thugs applaud in his speeches, one can tell that he is proud of the fact that he haD been an unpunished war criminal for all eight years of his regime.
One would think that The White House intern in-charge of twittering wouldn't tweet something that he/she thought would bring shame on POTUS--so I come to the conclusion that Obama is just as proud to be a war president as was Bush the Butcher.
Then Obama went on to say, "We did not choose this fight." Of course, the USA was an innocent bystander on September 11, 2001. It's a given that the US only spreads goodwill and material aid around a planet that adored "The Great Satan" and on 9/11 it was attacked by rogue terrorists that only wanted to hurt the US because of its "freedom and democracy."
Obama, the Nobel Peace Prize Winning War Criminal bombed at LEAST seven countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Syria, Somalia, and Yemen. I would really like to know who or what chose these fights for Obama? Did some random homeless guy from Hoboken phone him up one day and say, "Hey, Prez, I choose Libya for you to destroy, next?" I more suspect the "fights" are always chosen by the Military Industrial Complex--which includes Wall Street and the fake corporate media.
What Obama implied in that speech was that the United States of America, the Empire which spends over a trillion dollars every year to maintain the largest military force and WMD in history, is actually somehow acting in self-defense in ANY of the above countries?
Interestingly enough, though, his actions over his eight-year reign of terror went a long way to harming relations with two nations that may actually have some capacity to fight back: Russia and China. While Obama was belligerently and arrogantly acting like every sitting POTUS before him, Biden and his son Hunter were using the situation to add to their family’s fortune, or Hunter’s illegal-drug fund.
The thing that is the most aggravating aspect (to me) about Obama's two terms is that he was able to (and brag about it) bomb seven countries without any large-scale opposition.
Before Trump voluntarily strapped himself into the puppet strings of the x-rated (for gratuitous violence) Imperial Punch and Punch show, he was being opposed.
For example, Trump got every liberal all clutching their pearls with chagrin when he tweeted about prison time for flag-burners, after Hillary Clinton TWICE sponsored that same legislation (the Flag Protection Act) when she was a senator--without the same pretend vapors from the "left."
The liberal world went "pearl clutching crazy" again before Trump was inaugurated when the then POTUS elect accepted a phone call from the President of Taiwan Tsai Ing-wen, because this is such a HUGE affront to China--when these same pearl clutchers never even blinked an eye only a few days earlier when the biggest arms dealer on the planet, Obama, closed a deal to sell 1.83 bn worth of arms to Taiwan. I suspected the newly outraged liberals had never even heard of Obama's Asia Pivot, either.
I don't know how to end this article, because the Ghoulish Legacy of Barack Obama will never end for the lifelong pain of those that had loved ones murdered or were maimed by his regime.
I know, because my own son was killed by an earlier version of Obama's foreign policy that had manifested itself in George Bush and the war that Obama promised to end, but never quite did.
Because, the rivers of blood spilled and the untold number of lives ruined are Obama's true legacy that most in this country never personally see, so they needed to concentrate on votes stolen by Russia or tweets tweeted by Trump.
My motto since my son was killed has ultimately become: "Never forget, but always move forward."
Now, looking back on the six-years since Obama strutted from office, we can see where his support of the Military Industrial Complex has brought us.
With the help of his Veep Biden, the Obama regime steered the world closer to nuclear annihilation since another Democrat was in office in 1962. By supporting the “color” (read National Endowment for Democracy/Imperialist) revolution in Kiev in 2014 and forcing Russia into a corner, the true legacy of Obama could be obliteration.
Where is the same pearl clutching opposition to species annihilation as there was to Trump wanting to make burning the U.S. flag (an activity I fully support—burning, not criminalization) illegal? The pearl clutchers even OPPOSED what they considered was Trump’s soft-line on Russia because they blamed Putin for the “disaster”: the war criminal Hillary Clinton’s loss to him in 2016.
Sure Trump was another tool and he seems to want to put himself into that role, again, but we must make no mistake that Obama was a monster, no matter how many want to elevate him to pedestal status.
Hello Cindy, Totally agree with this summation of Number 44, the PT Barnum of presidential politics (viz. "There's a sucker born evra 'minnit'!"). An incorrigibly corrupt, cynical, smarmy, carny-barking, political second-story man of the most contemptible kind, about whom the kindest thing we might🗣gets better at what he’s good at with advancing years. A great trasher of democracy, not a defender! Obama's status as "Monster-in-Chief" was made all the more unassailable because he perpetrated the biggest fraud on the American people, and also upon those of us non-Americans who were like yourselves looking for a change in the direction the US was heading.
Interesting to note there were many things that inspired my own entry into political commentary, but three stand out. The first was 9/11, the GWOT and the Bush era in general. The second was the GFC. And the third was Obama's treachery and betrayal.
For what it's worth, you and readers will see below a link to an article I wrote on the "Great Black and White Hope" at the fag-end of his deplorable tenure as POTUS, which you may or may not have seen. Your timing on this post is v good, as I was thinking of updating this article for posterity. Even in this lengthy piece (20m), I only scratched the surface of the man's sins n' crimes of omission and commission. Or better still, a sequel of sorts, as a lot of water has flowed under the Obama's bridge since that time. Part of any new narrative would include his involvement in pushing the Russia-gate brouhaha of course, but there'd be plenty also to talk about.
On a slightly different note, I hear his Mrs is planning a tilt at the Oval Office in 2024, and that in itself will provide much grist to the mill. Imagine, Obama as the first First (Black) Man in the White House, another two for the price of one deal (or will it be "But one, get one free?"). The thought should make most folks tremble. I hear also that the old DNC 'boiler' Chilly Hillary is thinking of running, another nightmarish scenario. Spare us puhleeze! 😱 GM 👀⬇️

Brief: After Barack Obama’s hope-fuelled triumph in 2008, it was clear millions of Americans were looking forward to moving in a wholly new direction. As we near the final year of his tenure, and with these expectations in mind, now is as good a time as any to look at some of the factors likely to shape his legacy. To this end, we scrutinise a presidency that promised so much to so many.
Good article. If we want to build a truly free society, we have to stop thinking in terms of left and right. These are just labels used to divide us and keep the criminals in power. At this point, it’s humans vs. nonhumans.
