History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people.
As Maurice Chevalier famously sang, "Yes, I remember it well."
The Megadeath Virus of Doom Scamdemic eviscerated my already tenuous faith in Big Medicine and Big Pharma. And, as a malignant bonus, attenuated or strained my already diminishing connection to my dwindling nuclear family of Normals.
My persona non grata status was eventually rescinded. But the topic of the scamdemic and the fraudulent, predatory nature of Establishment "healthcare" is avoided.
My assumption is that my relatives rightly consider it a bad time all around, and prefer not to "dwell" on it. I also assume that they still buy into the fraudulent narrative, and don't regret getting all those jabs and "COVID" meds.
For instance, in 2023 my sister felt like she was "coming down with something" on our return from my nephew's wedding; it was a lovely wedding, but typically stressful. She called her doctor as soon as she got home, and he immediately diagnosed it as "COVID" and prescribed Paxlovid. 💊 🤢
And, as I've mentioned, I was so repelled by my long-time primary care doctor's knee-jerk embrace of the COVID narrative that I have been avoiding him ever since. So it's a drag and major bummer all around. 🦠 💉 😡
Speaking of drags and major bummers, I am compelled to tack on this annual mini-rant. I've commented, probably more than once, about my profound revulsion for the way Philadelphia (PA) local media observes, or "celebrates", MLK Day.
I habitually switch on the local newsradio station when I come downstairs for breakfast, just to listen to the headlines. On MLK Day, I brace myself for the utterly predictable "top story": gushing over the "MLK Day of Service" and the heartwarming volunteerism in the tri-state area.
I won't recycle any of the screeds I've written about this. And I resist the urge to contact KYW Newsradio, The Philadelphia Inquirer, et al to suggest that from now on, they refer to the holiday as "The House Negro Day of Service". 🤬
Cindy, Have dipped in and out of Substack in recent weeks and somehow found my way back to you and Soapbox! In the chaos of the past five years + different devices, platforms, and email addresses, I've lost connections and thus touchstones. I've spent the past couple of hours "catching up" with you, reading past issues. So grateful for your voice, your focus, you. We need it/you more than ever!!
Being a huge admirer ever since Camp Casey, I was delighted to find you here fully aware of the PLANSCAMDEMIC and it's dire implications (globalist genocidal agenda with total slavery for the survivors), and you had not turned into another SHITLIB like 99% of all the other so-called 'Progressives'.
I too am one of those politically adrift since 2020, now fiercely independent of viewpoints, but who suffered all the traumatic ostracizing for being so that I have PTSD for the rest of my life from how I was scorned as a pariah!
One of my first SSs, about the same time and subject as yours"

Well, if the “good” people were silent, IMHO, they turned into bad people. Thanks for sharing and for your comment!
