Where were you on that ill-fated day of 6 Jan 2021 when millions of White Republicans stormed the nation’s capitol building, burned it down, killed many, and created a MAGA nightmare which installed King Donald of Mar-a-Lago as leader for life?
It’s weird, because, unlike the day JFK was assassinated when I was a mere young-lass of six-years; or when the Challenger exploded; or on 9/11; I have no effing clue where I was, or what I was doing on that day. Probably stewing in my un-jabbed, un-masked juices, stuck here in California, being all Covid-insurrectiony my own self, I guess.
In reality, only one person died in the building that day and it was 35-year old Ashli Babbitt who was executed by a Capitol Hill po-po. One cop had a stroke and died the next day and a DC court just dismissed a civil lawsuit against Trump, blaming him for that death.
In, 2006, the first time I was in Venezuela for the World Social Forum, my sister and I were walking back to our hotel after dinner one night. All of a sudden, there were dozens of men running towards us shooting guns up in the air. Being from Los Angeles, we were used to random gunfire at all days/times, so we hid behind a metal garbage bin until the rowdy bunch passed us by.
What was going on? Did the U.S. sponsor another violent coup again Hugo Chavez? Was there some kind of late-night bank heist? Were the delegates to the Caracas Social Forum under attack? No! Apparently there had been a victorious baseball team and these banditos were celebrating!
My point is, there was more gunplay in that 90-seconds in Caracas, then at the so-called Jan 6 “insurrection.”

I think the people who believe Jan 6 was an insurrection is now limited to shut ins, Alzheimer patients and Liz Cheney personal group of friends. And they might not believe it. They might just be humoring her.
The revelation of some video of that day is exonerating the “insurrection” claim, and if it were an insurrection, my biggest question is: “What changed?”
Despite the “overthrow,” the “counter-revolution’s” hero, Sloppy Genocide Joe shuffled into the Oval Office a couple of weeks later and his regime began to work with (anti)social media outlets to censor accounts that went against the pre-dominant covid narrative; against his campaign promises, his regime has approved more oil drilling leases than did Trump’s:
Federal data show the Biden administration approved 6,430 permits for oil and gas drilling on public lands in its first two years, outpacing the Trump administration’s 6,172 drilling-permit approvals in its first two years.
Besides the fact that we are closer to nuclear annihilation than we ever have been, eggs are $11 a dozen in some shops here in Northern Ca and the price for a gallon of gas hasn’t been lower than $4.50 since Joey shuffled into office, no significant change occurred on 6 Jan.
So, today, we are supposed to be in “mourning” for what many establishment goobers called “worse than 9/11” but the revolution didn’t turn anything, except the fascism has deepened and many of us lost our livelihoods because we wouldn’t take the Magic Needle Juice™ injection, which rhymes with insurrection, and, you know the rest.
Revolutions do not have to be violent, and our energy should move towards a localized insurrection of values, and away from the absolute cancerous pathology emanating from WashedUp, DeCeit, consuming all that is good and decent.
#NeverForget that the Garbage People want us sick, ill-informed, compliant, and, resigned to our fate as the “useless eaters” that they think we are-it’s up to us to live our lives, rejecting that fate as much as possible: bringing others along with us.

USA democracy could not have died on 1/6/21, because it never lived. The Dem Party will milk this non event for as long as they can, because it is all they have. And yea, I remember where I was on 11`/22/63, 4/4/68, 6/5/68 and d9/11, not where I was on 1//6/21.
