Zelensky threatens world leaders ahead of Moscow's Victory Day celebrations
Ukrainian leader Vladimir (isn’t it “Volodymyr?”) Zelensky (isn’t it “Zelenskyy?”) has warned that Kiev cannot guarantee the safety of world leaders attending the May 9 celebrations in Moscow. He also dismissed Russia's proposal for a Victory Day ceasefire as a "theatrical production." Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier announced a unilateral three-day pause in military operations starting May 8 and continuing through the World War II Victory Day celebrations, citing humanitarian reasons. Speaking at a press briefing on Saturday, Zelensky reiterated this position. "No one is going to help Putin play this in order to give him a soft atmosphere of escape from isolation on May 9, and to make everyone feel comfortable and safe -- those leaders, friends, or partners of Putin who will come to Kremlin Square...We are either at war, or Putin is showing that he is ready for a ceasefire," Zelensky added.
Ukrainian MP threatens terror attack on Red Square --Yury Pavlenko has suggested targeting Moscow despite Vladimir Putin’s proposal of a 72-hour ceasefire | 2 May 2025 | Kiev could target Moscow's Red Square during next week's Victory Day celebrations, a Ukrainian lawmaker has suggested, despite Russia's offer of a three-day ceasefire. May 9 marks the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany in World War II. On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a 72-hour ceasefire from May 8 to 10, citing "humanitarian considerations." Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov later described the truce as a chance to begin "direct negotiations with Kiev without preconditions." However, in an interview with Ukrainian media on Wednesday, Yury Pavlenko openly suggested that Ukraine could try to derail Victory Day, which is one of the most revered holidays in Russia, as well as many former Soviet republics.
Btw, if it wasn’t for the heroic sacrifice of the people of the Soviet Union, Europe would have likely fallen to Hitler. IMO, this victory should rightly be celebrated.

I see an immenent extermination coming shortly, possibly a scripted plane crash with a fake heros funeral as to keep the division alive.
The Ukrainian MP calling for an attack on the Victory Day ceremonies isn't alone.
Retired Lieutenant General Ben Hodges, former commander of US Army Europe, is a rabid Russophobe, and accordingly a rabid pro-Ukrainian. Like all of the Western military brass, active or retired, he is sought after and renowned by Establishment mass-media. And, like his fellow media military experts, he has an impressive record of being dead wrong on almost all of his assessments and predictions.
He's outdone himself, if such a thing is possible, by vehemently asserting that the Victory Day ceremonies in Moscow are unquestionably a valid military target for Ukraine-- thus, he also urges Ukraine to "Rain Fire on Putin's 9th May Parade":

I don't know if Trump has commented on these calls to attack the ceremonies. But even if he has decorously repudiated the suggestion, Hodges' post and language read pretty much like a typical Trump Truth Social post, albeit with fewer gratuitous capitalizations and trite superlatives.
I'm not suggesting that Trump put Hodges up to serving as his surrogate, but I think Trump wishes he could have posted something like it-- if he weren't hamstrung by his ongoing pretense to be distraught by "all of the needless killing". 🔥 😡
