And our leaders are funding it with our dollars. It is so sickening. I keep think of how I'd feel if it happened to me and my family. Our leaders have no empathy. How can anyone who is human support what Israel is doing?

The crimes committed against Palestine by Israel and its sugar daddy the US have a long history evidenced by a slow-motion, ongoing genocide that has not stopped since 1948 when the illegal state was 'created'. Israel has unashamedly announced time and again what the plan is- total decimation of Palestine and Palestinians- no matter the ages no matter the method of destruction no matter how long it takes.
Having been allowed to continue to commit these crimes of land theft, the razing of homes, farms, orchards and businesses for over 75 years now, how else did the rest of the world figure this gigantic atrocity was going to end? How many lives? Just this recent action alone caused the deaths of 5,000 people. Five thousand!
I am enraged when the media sells this as a 'conflict' as if it just happened and Palestine fired the first shot! As if thousands of innocent unarmed civilians haven't suffered BEFORE this latest insult!
The silence and inertia of the world community is a human rights disaster in and of itself. Those who have armed and protected Israel's onslaught must be held accountable as accessories to war crimes of the highest order.
The GA (General Assembly) is utterly impotent and the entire hierarchy of the UN must be confronted for their willful complicity. I have begged the GA to walk out en masse. To boycott the proceedings. To nullify the process- why do they persist? Again, a majority being ruled and denied any influence by a tiny minority.
What else is there? For decades the Israel lobby in the US has cajoled, invaded, stolen, lied and cheated its way to a level of power that no other foreign lobby has ever possessed. There were 'massive demonstrations' when US and its allies invaded Iraq...in support of no war, life and liberty for Iraqis. How did that work out? These demos have historically (certainly) in the 2000s been flashes in the proverbial pan. Afterwards- everyone goes back and stays quiet.
Don't get me wrong- I'm all for a voluble, widespread demonstration against the Empire but if these actions made any kind of difference we would not be where we are today.
