The Myth of Kennedy's Camelot
RFK recently said: "LOCK YOUR PARENTS UP AND MAKE THEM LISTEN TO JOE ROGAN" "The one cohort that I'm doing really poorly with is Baby Boomers. I ought to be doing really great with them because they're the people who remember the Kennedy era. But they have a disability; they only get their news from ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and the New York Times. And if I were living in that information ecosystem, I'd have a low opinion of myself as well. What we're finding is that young people are getting their information from long form interviews from podcasts from other alternative interventions. So they're doing critical thinking. If you're young and you have parents, you need to lock them up somewhere and make them listen to a Joe Rogan podcast."
Hey, Bobs, go eff yourself. You’re so condescending, your Boomerism is showing. Should we parents also be tied to a chair and have our eyelids propped open with toothpicks? Joe Rogan gets some shit right, and some shit wrong. EVERYONE should turn off that mass-media crap. Maybe we do remember the Kennedy era?
Robert Kennedy Jr. has been making some headway with the lofty rhetoric of his 2024 presidential campaign. He constantly references his famous family, claiming that if he is elected, the USA will return to its former “glory.” But the truth behind the Kennedy family is not as rosy as it's made out to be. Both JFK and RFK were adulterers, and their father was a notorious mobster who made a fortune through illegal means. In this Substack, we will take a closer look at the myth of Kennedy's Camelot and why it's important to see through the facade.
Bobs has been using the nostalgia of Kennedy's Camelot to gain support from the public. But is it really accurate to say that the USA was better during his family's reign? It's easy to romanticize the past and ignore its flaws, especially when we add in the tragic murder of JFK, but the truth is that JFK and RFK were not perfect leaders. They made mistakes like any other politician, or human, and their personal lives were far from admirable. It's important to acknowledge the good and the bad of any historical figure, especially when their legacy is being used for political gain.
One of the most glaring flaws of the Kennedy family was their ties to organized crime. Joseph Kennedy, the patriarch of the family, made his fortune through illegal bootlegging during Prohibition. As much as Prohibition was a huge mistake and stupid failure, a lot of very unscrupulous and dangerous men opportunistically built their fortunes during that time. Joe Sr continued to use his connections to the criminal underworld throughout his career, making shady deals and gaining influence through less than honorable means. This is not the type of legacy we should strive to emulate in our leaders.

Joseph P. Kennedy Sr. did not visit his daughter at the institution at all. In Rosemary: The Hidden Kennedy Daughter, author Kate Clifford Larson stated that Kennedy's lobotomy was hidden from the family for 20 years; none of her siblings knew of her whereabouts.
Another issue with Kennedy's Camelot is the myth of King Arthur. The story of Camelot often conjures up images of an idyllic paradise, but the reality was far from that. The legend is based on a mythical place that never existed, much like the perfect version of the Kennedy family that RFK Jr. portrays. We need to focus on reality and not get swept up in fanciful stories that ignore the flaws of our past.
In 1929, Kennedy's (Joe’s) fortune was estimated to be $4 million (equivalent to $68.2 million in 2022). By 1935, his wealth had increased to $180 million (equivalent to $3.84 billion in 2022).
Furthermore, RFK Jr. is not immune to the same issues that plagued his father and uncles. He has accused himself of serial adultery and drug abuse, and it's concerning that he is using his family's name to gain political power. It's important that we hold our leaders accountable for their actions, regardless of their family history or status.
In conclusion, the myth of Kennedy's Camelot is just that, a myth.
Bobby, Norma Jean, and Jack
It's important that we see through the facade and acknowledge both the good and the bad of our historical figures. We should not look to emulate the criminal ties and immoral behavior of the Kennedy family. Instead, we should focus on creating a better future for ourselves and our country and this must happen outside the current political zeitgeist. We need local leadership which is accountable for its actions and which strives to make a positive impact on our society.
Let's leave the myth of Camelot behind and look forward to a brighter future.
This is not a post to expose RFK’s well-known Zionism. I have posted a lot about that and I am well aware.

RFK Jr. lost me when he said “Palestinians are the most pampered people” in the midst of their genocide. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iFXEmBjeoXg
Right now I really see nobody to vote for. They are all bad Cindy. The Gaza genocide has really exposed it all.
