To me, it's not the bloodthirstiness of the ex-Shell oil employee, so much, as the game show response of the crowd. I didn't hear one boo or hiss.

Wowzers

The question to ask is WHAT IS RIGHT WITH PEOPLE? Especially the British, still worshipping their enslavement as the bottom of the caste system. Of course they would cheer a nuclear holocaust. If they are still worshipping dead monarchies, it is pretty clear they enjoy mass murder...

Seems so

Nah. Those chicken sh*t wankers won't be pushing any buttons or pulling any triggers. They'll let the hapless, war-hungry Yanks do it for them like they did in so many murderous actions before.

Thank you Cindy. I can always count on you to be on top of what is going on. Our leaders are insane and so are a lot of those I used to hang out with. It helps to know there are sane people like you who see through the lunacy to the truth.

Let's give old Liz Truss some credit; she did qualify her statement by saying, "if necessary." She could have said, "whether necessary or not."

Goddess help us all, indeed.

Yes, we should applaud that she's not a cavalier harbinger of doom.

There is something in the human brain geared to forgetting pain...not just repressing it but clearing it and the memories attached to it. We have to consciously hold on to that pain so we can learn from it but we rarely do...according to a woman who was once head of linguistics at USC....not heal from it but bury it and eventually it dies with us...so it explains imo why Brits can applaud nuclear holocaust...they have no tactile memory of its destruction...it is why we never learn...

That’s an extreme reaction though. I have no memory of nuclear destruction. 1945 was 12 years before I was born, but I have the IQ to still be frightened of it. I don’t think most humans would cheer for nukes being deployed. I hope

The global leaders are all together on this, she's not an outlier. And they've got their underground bunkers in NZ - at least they think they do.

Yes, their designer, bespoke bunkers

One has to appreciate the absolute naivete they have employed, there. Like they're all going to live in peace underground, after nuking the earth. The mind boggles.

If you haven't seen this you should. Gut wrenching. It should be seen by everyone. David Bowie song...a very British anti- war animation. The best shocker. If it doesn't get to folks they are brain dead and worse..heart dead.https://youtu.be/1xAIqDMW8dE

You're still wondering IF they are brain dead?? After what they allowed over the past nearly 3 years?

I guess I always want to give humanity the benefit of a doubt. Guess I am a dummy.

Yer no dummy...just kind and that's everything to me. There's still hope which is why we slog on eh? 😍

Yep

No WE, WE allowed it. And it's been this way since Hiroshima. Did you watch the movie..the link I sent?

Why would I want to be sadder than I already am all the time. I’m not the person who is cavalier about war,

To clarify...the 'they' I refer to IS WE. You said 'If it doesn't get to folks, they are brain dead.'

I read and watch and HAVE read and watched so much 'gut-wrenching' material- like Cindy, and w no disrespect to you, I can live without one more video, one more photo, one more essay, one more meme, one more song that is going to throw me further off-balance. Because- I know I will experience more.

I have studied so many atrocities committed by the hegemon. And, as it's said, you cannot unsee it, unhear it, unread it.

I cry at least once a day- sometimes more often. Unlike my soul sister, Cindy, I struggle to have faith in my fellows.

I hope you understand. ✌💟

Of course, I understand.

No one said life was going to be easy, but does it have to be so hard all the time?

That's fine. I rarely share anything anymore but thought it was relevant. I'll be more mindful. Peace is,after all,an inside job. I have to work on it myself. Thank you.

Brits suffered Hitler blitzkriegs during WWII! Do they really think they are immune in a nuke war? History is a meaningless subject it seems, smh
