My grandparents, Mary Magdalen and Vincent, lived in Santa Monica. In the early 1960s (before JFK's murder), I would stay with them and their yellow canary, Jo Jo, overnight. Fond memories. I am sure the apartment building they lived in at the time is now "luxury" condos.
It’s a bit of a drive from Ventura through traffic, but I will try to attend. Seeing people in person is how we build community and how we will overcome the fearmongers.
