The Constitution was so lacking that they had to AMEND it with the bill of rights, because people were protesting the lack of rights in the Constitution!

I know. I got the 2nd highest grade in the whole school on the Constitution test in 8th grade.

Back in the day, we needed to pass it to graduate to 9th grade.

Bloomsday! Well, one day later. I read "Ulysses," which was banned in the US for "obscenity" from its date of publication, in 1922, until 1934 when the ban was rescinded, in 1988. James Joyce's seminal work probably should have been "banned" for difficulty of reading, and finding a "plot" anywhere, beyond a drunken Irishman with a few languages to spare plunking random linguistic notes on a piano.
