I don’t know how many times I have had to say this since 2016: I am NOT a Trump supporter, nor did I ever, nor would I ever vote for him. Why? I find him not only repellent, but he’s a pawn in the Dem v. Rep game.
I feel like he may have been a decent president if he had done what he promised: like having Hillary Clinton investigated and ending the Bush/Obama era wars. He did neither of those things and, to this day, brags about his “Operation Warp Speed” corporate welfare to Pfizer, Moderna, and the rest.
Trump has been so traumatic for liberals, that, as a whole, they have embraced war criminals like John McCain, Dick Cheney, Colin Powell, and George Bush, just because they don’t like Trump. As I have said before, “the enemy of your enemy is very rarely your friend.” The only time the establishment praised Donald Trump was when he ordered the Mother of All Bombs (MOAB) to be dropped in Afghanistan. The lover of all things war, Fareed Zakaria of CiaNN called Trump “presidential” after the bombing. The MOAB is a 22,000 lb bomb that has been compared to a small nuclear bomb. Trump dropped many bombs during his regime, including in Syria.
In an obvious politically motivated move, the FBI raided Trump’s Mar-A-Lago home. I don’t really care about that because the FBI are a group of thugs that have not evolved since the days J. Edgar Hoover used the agency as a personal police force for racketeering, bribes, and terror. The FBI recently raided the homes of four black liberation activists being wrongfully accused of collusion with Russia.
The problem I have with the raid on Trump is that the media and federal law enforcement have been covering up the crimes of Hunter Biden—crimes he has even filmed himself committing. The same people didn’t care when Hillary Clinton scrubbed her emails, or for being an unrepented war criminal and supporter of mass murder. Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi have used their elected offices for insider trading, or bribing foreign leaders and corporations for profit: influence peddling is the business of the Biden family.
Volumes have been written about the crimes of the Bush mob, so just suffice it to say, that Bush and his cronies have no room to criticize Trump, or anyone else.
Obama took the wars of Bush and greatly expanded them, saying at one point, “I am good at killing.” But, everyone’s freaking out because Trump may have some documents? When does serial murder on a global scale trump (see what I did there?) leaving office with some documents?
I would never let Bill Clinton get a pass, but again, the crimes of his eight-year reign of terror have been well documented.
If the raid on Trump was not politically motivated, then EVERY living president would be either under investigation or incarcerated in a deep, dank dungeon, never to kill again.
The office of President of the United States has been populated with a rogues gallery of villains and we here in the hoi polloi need to stop also being pawns in their imperial Squid Games.
Spot on, Cindy. Sometimes, the hypocrisy is just too much. Anyone who thinks this is anything but a big psyops/circus event hasn't been paying attention.
I voted for Trump in 2016 I admit I fell for it thinking he was going to be different. He led a standing ovation for the Clintons and said something about Hilary suffered enough basically letting her off the hook at his inauguration luncheon. remember telling my husband that night “we have been played he is part of it”
