When there are no obvious good guys on the stage, the only conclusion people can draw with any logic is they are screwed and rather than admit that which would then require action, they create some bad guy, point their finger and never deal with the reality that the country is lost. In other words, citizens do not take responsibility for their own moral demise. It's apparently too painful a fact that true responsibility equates to action that puts you at risk...no risk, no growth. And so we stay stuck as a nation in apathy and denial. And so it goes when a nation grows too large and powerful and becomes an empire. All empires eventually destroy themselves because we are meant to live in community with one another and in harmony with the world. We are currently a failed species on the brink of spiritual, moral and physical death.
I voted for Trump in 2016 I admit I fell for it thinking he was going to be different. He led a standing ovation for the Clintons and said something about Hilary suffered enough basically letting her off the hook at his inauguration luncheon. remember telling my husband that night “we have been played he is part of it”

The crimes of the politicians, corporations and governments and bankers continue without restriction while the people look at the distraction and wring their hands. So well said! The MOAB was the largest non-nuke at that time. A two mile blast radius, the Pentagon “assured us” that it only got the bad guys. I remember Van Jones on CNN saying that “tonight he became president.” Not four months prior, he was crying on TV saying the election of Trump was a “white lash.” The hypocrisy, murder and thievery of these ghouls is something I hate very intensely.
