Thanks I’m glad my Lebanese Friend stopped me from taking my boys picture off my phone . I said “ I guess it’s time to put him out of my daily view “. But my now late friend told me , “Never never take his picture off” So now I have that as a point of gladness. I got to tell his son what a great friend his father was to me . All the times he carried my weigh at work before I got well from changing my diet .

To sum it up, what are the amounts to is that while we’re more or less pretty good at making the trains run on time, we keep heading down the wrong track.

For those who have any common sense that would indicate that while the train might need some work, the conductor and his crew need to be completely scrapped.

And that in turn points to the fact that, especially when looking at the big picture, common sense is not too common.

Yes!.. Throw them to the mob.

Merry Christmas.

You seemed to have overlooked one of the recent despicable chief executives in your photo(s) array.

Not a peace on earth person in the bunch.

Missin’ dead kids at Christmas always dampens the fun for moms, and dads, whether it’s a daughter or a son.

I enjoy burnin’ a big memorial candle, and pretendin’ what might have been.

To each their own.

Christmas was always about the kids.

May there be "Peace on Earth."

We often hear the term, "peace process," used to describe the negotiations to end war and perhaps divide the spoils. I prefer another interpretation: that peace is not a static state but an active process involving continual adjustments to the vagaries of life such that we experience the serenity of each moment.

Cindy love that pic of Casey! Brought a tear to my eye. I gave my niece a can full of pennies one Christmas, and she cried.

Don't let the war demons that murdered your son steal your soul. Repent and return to the Catholic Church. Don't be a pawn in Satan's folly. God bless you. And a very Merry Christmas to you and your entire family!

Hi, does it seem my soul is stolen? And Merry Christmas to you as well. Thank you

I too want the War Demons brought to task for their crimes. it was simply amazing how the US went from a climate of peace loving to war loving based on 'false flags', namely 9/11. I have always been about peace since a young man in the 60s, so I never fell for these lies like Orwell predicted "War Is Peace", "Freedom Is Slavery" and most revolting "Ignorance Is Strength". The book "Nineteen-eighty-four" should have prepared us all for the deception of The War Against Terror (TWAT) and fear is the mindkiller! Just when did people stop protesting war in the US?

The idea of Festivus is so much better than that of Christmas that glorifies war, leading us into one year after another of the same old nonsense. I too feel it would be good to have one Cheney in prison over none, however I'd really like to see the "Big Dick" go down for his crimes along with George W. Bush and all the rest (entirely too numerous to mention by name!). "We Wish You A ______ _________ and a Happy New Year!".

May you and your family have comfort and joy - and not just at x-mas/festivus time.

David Swanson hits it out of the ball park. Scroll down and listen to his talk:

David Swanson examines how the U.S. myths create support for war. He provides new context for crises in Korea, Iran, Syria, and Afghanistan in the face of the damaging effects of militarism and US exceptionalism on people both at home and abroad.

2018, and of course, he goes after Trump-Kushner 1.0 with zero problem, and is an equal opportunity critic of the double down perverse uni-party.
