I agree with you, totally that men should never be allowed in girls' and women's safe spaces. Though I've never voted Republican, they are much better than the Dems on this issue. I'm in criminal defense and it is insane to put male rapists with male body parts in prisons with women, who are nowadays routinely raped in their prison cells. And all too often little girls are raped by men in girls bathrooms. If a guy wants to be female, he can have an operation to remove his male parts so he can't rape anyone. Maybe, they should have giant scissors outside girls' bathrooms for those men who want to operate on themselves to gain entrance. Simply allowing rapists to rape women and girls because the rapists say they now identify as female is completely psycho. This is one of many ways in which the Democratic Party has gone off the deep end. Actually, I like the scissor idea. If a suspected rapist tries to defend himself by claiming he's trans, he should be required to have the operation right in the courtroom to prove his defense.

I like the scissor idea, as well!

"No boys in girls’ and no men in women’s safe spaces. Do women’s lives matter? Do the safety and well-being of our girls matter? Or are the fee-fees of hairy-fully-intact men more important?"

Good for Nancy. The liberal talking head threw out a possible "discriminatory" alternative: separate bathrooms for transgenders only.

no men in women's spaces. to say otherwise is to say that men's wishes are more important than women's wishes. re BBC, BBC=BS, liars to the core.

What I really object to is when men (I use that term loosely) “grab ‘em by the pussy”.

The same would hold true if it was a penis being caressed without consent.

What about Kavanaugh creeps, and Thomas type freaks, harassing and assaulting the woman they meet???

Sexual deviants come in red, white, and blue, and purple and pink.

All of Weinstein’s, and Epstein’s, and Diddy’s pals stink.

Put ‘em all in small cages, with a toilet and sink, where they can eat, sleep, and shit.

They can replace the abused, innocent, immigrant kids.

Who said that the creeps are only dmeocraps?

Not me!!!

This has absolutely nothing to do with “political” parties.

What these fucking creeps call parties, are in fact dens of iniquity, to say the least.

Massive castration would be just fine with me, Cindy.

Well, it's obvious that the Trump camp had a strategy...part of it may very well have been to NOT come down too heavy on the whole trans/gender conversation and that's why Mace waited until 'the coast was clear'.

I have spoken with a number of people who identified that whole gender mess as a big, big reason to vote against the Demroids. I think most of us get that there are gays, lesbians, bis, etc. in our lives. So what? Be what you are, know that you are safe...until you cross the line and try to legislate morality or stuff your choices down our throats. Until we all recognize that diversity doesn't necessarily include lifestyle choices in place of biological imperatives- we'll never settle down and there's a SHIT TON of work to do in other areas

Mace is right on this one.

This stuff has been going on for much longer than just this campaign, though.

She could have/should have spoken up sooner, IMHO.

Good it's happening, now, though.

Yes. But she is a small time player from SC. Mace is a relative moderate in her party and has expressed support for LGBTQ issues in the past. I really think her waiting on this was political strategy in line with her party and constituency.

She also represents the 1st CON gressional district which is the coastal area around Charleston and also the LEAST conservative. In John Berendt's novel 'Midnight In the Garden of Good and Evil' a character (in Savannah, GA where the story is set) refers to Charleston as an 'urban metropolis'. Which is laughable! It's a provincial backwater that attracted New Yorkers to permanent residences after 9/11. They already had vacation homes there...but once the Twin Towers went down and The War on Terror kicked off...they took their silver and gold and headed South to Charleston.

Hi Kathy--who is advocating for male toddlers being banned from their mother's restrooms? On the other hand, there is a point where boys should not join their mothers. I also think family restrooms, or, unisex restrooms are good. Places here in California that are small businesses often have one bathroom for everyone and they must be handicapped accessible. Unisex bathrooms typically are one at a time--or able to bring children/grandchildren. Thanks

Is this how you’re going to react every time someone comes around on an issue or hits a breaking point? Have you been out in front of every single issue, never late to the party? She’s leading this particular charge by herself for the most part. She’s a woman on an island taking fire with very few Republican members of Congress coming to her aid. Obviously you have some kind of personal issue with Nancy Mace if you used this post to insult her. The backhanded compliment is petty. Don’t you have plenty of actual villains in California to go after instead of wasting your time being critical of another woman fighting the good fight?

I went to Publix the other day and saw a unisex/wheelchair bathroom, with lock. That should solve this problem. At the same time we can't go to the other extreme. Mothers should still be able to bring their baby boys and toddlers to the Ladies Room

OT, but thought I'd acknowledge 61 years ago today.

The beginning of the end?

The older I get the more disturbing it feels.

And three more within the next five years.

Like them or not, I think the country has been reeling, unknowingly, from ptsd.
