Happy Easter, Ishtar, Eostre, and/or Sunday,
"Easter" is linked to the pagan springtime goddess Eostre, according to Hann. Celebrated during the spring equinox, Eostre was first documented in the eighth century and is associated with some Easter traditions that have lasted to this day.
Before I gave up ALL SUGAR about 330 days ago now, Peep were my jam. I think they are cute and colorful (the dyes are devastating, as well), and now they don’t appeal to me at all.
Except for their pun value.
Today, I will be spending all day with family and my family has RESURRECTED Joy back into my life nearly 20-years after Casey’s murder (by the Empire) in Iraq.
Whatever you do, or don’t do, today my wish and hope for YOU ALL are for peace and joy to be part of your day and your life.

Back at you although I don't personally celebrate "Easter" today. Haven't for 40 plus years. (Former Catholic, still recovering.)
I will, however, be required to endure the "17-20" person gathering I'm prepping my share of the potluck for. In "celebration of Easter" today. 😉
Give me strength.
It is what it is Cindy. Isn't that what they say?
Glad to hear your family brings you joy. ❤
Peace. Love and Joy to all the Peeps! 🥰
