Too bad voters aren't equally outraged about what's happening at our border, election interference, wars no one voted on, fentanyl crisis.....

a lot of people are outraged about those things.

I absolutely LOVE IT when people interrupt the war machine...especially when they are trying to drum up war "business."

And, by the way, Rashida Tlaib showed who she really was the other day, no? Makes you wonder how "sincere" she was on the Palestinian Genocide. It ain't that hard to be consistent with your values and your humanity.

It's best to stay out of DC because...

what did Tlaib do the other day? I must have missed it.

That evil and crazy SOB should have never been encouraged to run . Knowing his past, the Party knew exactly what they were installing and what he would do. His first order of business was to quickly clear us of Afganistan, then onward to Ukraine (and possibley Israel?) I suspect this type of war 'preplanning' goes undetected and never spoken of. But (it) smells obvious to me. It's what 'they' all pay and plan for...in advance. Yes, this is exactly what Cali should do on March 5th. His demise as a politician should be as ugly and disgraced as possible...starting with the primaries.

Over the years, I've become too skeptical and cynical about the Amerikan electoral system to play along, even for monkeywrenching purposes.

The Megadeath Virus of Doom Scamdemic ratcheted up my skepticism and cynicism even more, even though my crap detector meters were already pinned. When the scamdemic was used as a pretext to promote mail-in voting, it was plain as day to me that substantially increasing mail ballots in the name of "public health", general "safety", and convenience was, as we used to say, a shuck (i.e. scam).

I mean, I realize that any and all voting methods are predicated on the assumption that the process is generally trustworthy and theoretically honest. So, in theory, if mail ballots become the default method, they COULD be processed with scrupulous rigor. But there is ample, if suppressed, evidence that if anything, this is more the exception than the rule.

Since 2020, the official party and mass-media dogma is that it's beyond question that any election won by a Democrat is manifestly free and fair-- if for no other reason than the result proves that no nefarious outside "interference" occurred to manipulate and falsify the tally. We all know that those dastardly Russkis don't meddle in elections to benefit the Democratic Party!

It just seemed obvious to me that the increase in mail ballots introduced more variables, amped up the chaos factor, and increased opportunities for mischief. And in blue-state Pennsylvania, I get deluged with helpful mailings and guidance encouraging me to vote by mail. Like those "annual flu shots" and vaccinations in general, the harder the official powers and principalities flog them, the more convinced I become that the fix is in.

Also, to wind up another desultory ramble: after they dialed back the scamdemic protocols and resumed in-person voting in PA, I did visit my local polling place just to see if it was back to business as usual. It wasn't.

Instead of curtained booths, or a comparable setup to permit private voting, there were several computer stations and mark-sense ballots on clipboards. It reminded me of taking my SAT tests; although the technology has advanced (I won't say "improved"), there was still the classic instruction to make sure that an approved black pen was used, and to be sure to COMPLETELY fill in the little circles, etc..

Also, I found it disconcerting that poll workers strolled around like test proctors, ostensibly in order to assist and facilitate the process for voters unused to the new method. I concede that these workers were almost certainly entirely altruistic, and weren't there to "peek" at the mark-sense ballots in ways that called the traditional confidentiality into question.

But the potential for abuse is there, and this high-tech open setup nevertheless erodes the legacy "secret ballot" culture. On top of all that, he fact that the authorities have seen fit to increasingly criminalize allegations and criticisms calling the electoral process into question is not exactly mollifying or reassuring.

All that said, just on a "whatever floats your boat" basis I don't fault people who still see a justification to at least attempt to game the system to produce more favorable results. 🤔

What does impedes tabulation mean? I wrote in uncommitted. Will it not count?

I assumed it meant blocking the automated scanner from reading the other items on the ballot, such as if you wrote in giant letters that crossed the boxes of other ballot items. Or if you used a glitter pen or paint brush or something. It does seem like there should be clearer instructions.

The women at my polling place were fucking clueless.

Sigh....
