Remember when schools closed for over a year without any science-based evidence to do so? As a consequence of this, our children are behind in learning and social skills, while suicide rates among young people are rising?

Remember when (s)elected officials were using elder care facilities as dumping grounds for sick people—with no evidence that hospitals were over-flowing AND with no concern for the elderly and disabled who were imprisoned there without even visitations from loved ones?

Remember when masks were “useless,” then one mask was required, then two masks were preferable?

Remember when we were told not to have family celebrations while our (s)elected officials very often got caught violating their own diktats?

Remember when corner liquor stores and big box stores remained open while essential services like medical, dental, gyms, and other small businesses were forced to close? Tens of thousands of small business owners were put out of business to serve the profits of Target, WalMart, Costco, and Amazon.

Remember when truckers stood against this incomprehensible fascistic and demonstrably (if anyone cared to look at actual science and not The $cience™) harmful orders, and they were attacked by their (s)elected (by Klaus Schwab) leaders with lies and having their bank accounts frozen?

Remember when THEY told us that if we didn’t get the Magic Needle Juice™ poke we would cut a swath of destruction with our health germs all over creation? Many of us lost our jobs, friends, family, and livelihoods, because we had the temerity to think we could make up our own minds about what we should do with our own bodies? Not only did every one of us lose something, some of us were publicly shunned and ridiculed for bucking a system that should be fucking bucked every second of every day.

Anyway, the Covid “emergency” may be over, but a lot of us are still suffering the consequences, not from a flu-like virus, but from all of the measures and social control that happened during this time period.

Even though nothing made sense, or makes sense, the thing for me that was VERY confusing was the whole “asymptomatic” scandal that placed shame and blame on everyone who was healthy.

I am re-stacking this article: The Most Important Test You’ve Never Heard of by David Zweig on his Silent Lunch stack.

Here is an excerpt that enrages me:

The Most Important Test You’ve Never Heard Of

Now, a paper from researchers at Stanford University School of Medicine and Stanford Hospitals, raises an extraordinary prospect: transmission from asymptomatic people is far, far less common than we were led to believe. 

From a special test they developed, the researchers found a remarkable 96 percent of people who were PCR-positive but without symptoms were not infectious. 

Most people who don’t have symptoms, of course, are not infected. So the likelihood of someone who is not noticeably sick actually being infected and infectious was exceedingly rare. This means that much of the actions we were told—or compelled—to take, including an acceptance of all those closed or half-empty schools, had little to no benefit.

Worse still, the novel test at Stanford that showed a very low rate of infectious asymptomatic people who had tested positive was available as early as May 2020. Yet the CDC and other health authorities did nothing.

The destruction of society was done for nothing but money.

All those assholes can go eff themselves.
