Good for you Cindy. Since Mother's Day is tomorrow, i will be thinking of you and continuing to appreciate your efforts and life. I know your son was a chaplain's assistance if I remember correctly. I grieve for your loss, I was an officer in the army for a time and I resigned my commission rather than continue. I was a Vietnam invasion era person. I did not end up going to Vietnam, but I saw the devastation and aftermath. All good wishes, Michael

Thank you.

Casey enlisted to be a chaplain's assistant, but they made him be a humvee mechanic.

glimmer of hope for us anti-war types?

"I doubt if I would endorse anybody who is supporting this war"- RFKjr

Well, if you mean by glimmer, some who wouldn't have seen this bit might not ever question the proxy war in Ukraine, but Kennedy was a big supporter---he thinks it's righteous, it's just time for the US to quit participating. He also calls Putin a "thug," when Putin was patient with the diplomacy process, that Ukraine, Europe and the US violated for 8 years until he invaded. Kennedy's own son even volunteered to go machine-gun Russians. I guess Kucinich is now running his campaign, so maybe Dennis will set him to rights.

I am encouraged that RFKjr actually supported Trump's CNN Ukraine-Russia anti-killing statements instead of attacking his opposing candidate. Dennis Kucinich would make a far better VP than Neocon Biden did during Obama Admin! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bf9ZzLh1MDU

That is so great that Dennis Kucinich is RFKjr campaign manager. He is anti-pHARMa and anti-Mercury Pollution too! He was wonderful during Autism Hearings 21:43 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxoiwnnNqbw

A son going to war is not always the fault of a parent. You should know that Cindy.

RFK.jr told Krystal Ball that one of his first acts as president will be to pardon Julian Assange. This alone is enough for me to hope that he wins. If he's lying, my Hopium stash takes another hit.

We hear-read-view what the system wants us to hear-read-view. The purpose of all such ´information` is to make us feel good and think that all is the way it should be. Meanwhile, the reality is that MotherEarth is being drained mercilessly of her energy to sustain Life AND perpetual war keeps ratchetting up to a level where Mutual Assured Destruction is the last option... doG bless ameryucka

Amazing Peace! Some signs out there that "peace" might be breaking out: China deal with Iranians and Saudis, for example, but still too early to tell. Really powerful article, thank you, Todd

Excellent and informative, especially the historical perspective which the lying capitalist media never presents.

It’s all junk science. These asswipes have zero integrity and I hope they rot slowly in hell because they are evil flaccid pricks and wrinkled vaginas. They are not human beings. We are the champions of the world. And now we know it and will sing it loudly forever and ever and ever.

This should be an interesting interview, from someone with gumboots on the ground, so to speak.

Looking forward to hearing it.

Thanks Cindy. ❤

Claiming to "Speak truth to Empire" is a confession of embarrassing ignorance of empires.

Expand full comment

Why? Does he say that he expects the Empire to listen?

Mahatma Gandhi spoke truth to British Empire on behalf of India very successfully

Depends on how you define "success".

Thought-provoking reply! I guess independence from British Empire is subjective depending on which country and who actually gains true freedom (or not) PS The caste system in India has lasted about 3 thousand years, smh!

Also, we allegedly kicked out the British, but I wonder if we really ever did. There's a lot more to Gandhi besides the public persona we are allowed to see. I love our discussions!

"I love our discussions!" Ikr?! :^)

One formerly hidden thing about Gandhi that is now widely attributed to him (due to the internet) is this quote: “Vaccination is a barbarous practice and one of the most fatal of all the delusions current in our time. Conscientious objectors to vaccination should stand alone, if need be, against the whole world, in defense of their conviction.”

I'm trying to find an old printout of a debate in the 1970s on India, Gandhi, and non-violence as I can't find it online, and thought it to be a revelation at the time, with Howard Ryan in written debate with Dave McReynolds. A great many people died in the repression of Moslems by the Gandhi Hindus, if I remember correctly, and carved out the country of Pakistan.

Only the fool argues with a fool. Why would anyone talk to anyone who doesn't listen?

Yeah, Dan's the bad guy, and I'm the bad guy.
