Was thinking of writing him in for Prez. Admired his dropping RFKjr (how could he not). I think the whole electoral system is rigged and corrupted by too much. I worry about WWIII.
There is currently nobody in Congress on our side. We need Dennis Kucinich and people like him back in Congress. Dennis Kucinich and Cynthia McKinney had more courage that any other Congressman and Congresswoman ever. I don't have a lot of faith in elections and it will be an uphill battle for any honest candidate. I do know that, if elected, he will continue to fiight for us and nobody else running for Congrerss this year even wants to fight for us.
Thomas Massie a repug from Kentucky is the closest thing we have. But, if one person gets in Congress, WTF? I don't care if he wins or loses, I am just glad he left the war party.
Yes, he is an honorable man, and I'm relieved that he has FINALLY given up on the Dems! We have another honest candidate (in NY) for US Senate in the form of Diane Sare, from whom I just got this message, affirming support for the South African stand at the UN:
Kucinich is naturally innocent. He has trouble imagining evil people, though he's been fighting them all his life. The total world takeover of evil in 2020 was even shocking to old hardened cynics like me, and it seems to have gone beyond the imagination of naturally good people like Kucinich. He just keeps doing what seems right by the old standards, without being fully aware that it can't work now.
Unfortunately, the only candidate you can trust is an independent who is not influenced by big money from AIPAC, Wall Street or the Militarist Corporations. That excludes Robert F. Kennedy and so many others. Think about it. Someone of the quality of Abraham Lincoln or George Washington would probably be mocked or ridiculed for trying to, so much as, speak truth to power. They would be fortunate if they were even given a chance to speak for one hour without being heckled.
I've seen several interviews with Kucinich, whom I've always liked, because he seemed to be the only sane person inside the Beltway. His growing up in Cleveland story is compelling; also the fact that he survived the "Danny Green" car-bombing days in that town during the mid-70s mafia war. Grace and I stayed in Youngstown, Ohio in 2018 road-tripping back from seeing my sister in Ithaca, New York. Curious about the place we stayed, I looked up Youngstown, which is about equidistant between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, PA. I came across the phrase "Youngstown tune-up," which I learned was slang for a car bomb.
Kucinich is a "man of faith," and I think that influenced him to stay "faithful" to the faithless Democratic Party, like it was the Catholic Church. By the way, thank you for highlighting O'Bushma's blatant hypocrisy about the presidential authority to declare--hostilities. "Humanitarian intervention" my ass! And, they got away with it. The "Regime Change War Business" finally crapped-out in Syria, thanks to Russia and Iran, but not before massive damage done, or: just another humanitarian crisis. Hopefully Mr Kucinich has a good run, and gets a seat back in Congress.
I donated and campaigned for him back in the day. I was still a little hopeful. When he caved and voted for Obamacare, I was shocked and felt betrayed. There were a few "theories" about it. I would like him to come clean......
that kucinich's run for the democratic party nominee against obama was thrown under the bus of many long time liberal media despite their later acknowledgement that he actually represented their own values (and their subscribers at the time as exampled by the nation, another captured fallen so far down) and by most all friends and family in their hopes that this audacious mascot would relieve white guilt was another huge wake up call. sadly, it would take me several more years to write off the entire party i knew was corrupted beyond all repair and it took monetarily supporting the only candidate i ever did, bernie sanders as the last chance, to finally heed everything i had seen before, now expertly weaponized.
even people i knew who traveled across the country to be with you fell in line to the audacious thrall. it has been only recently that i have personally found and followed you here (more so your writings, since i'm one of those throw-back/out plodding readers who isn't as audiovisual as newer gens) and i am thrilled to have found your personally political voice that speaks a/head to our hearts!
writing in a candidate i would vote for again as president almost feels like putting a gun to their head
every newbie headed to the swamp will learn a deadly lesson they will swim to careerism or be canceled to smearing sinking stink of any display of moral integrity (and likely only on a ballot with the support of that known)
but if i were an ohioan: i'd vote for him in a heart beat as we all must live our roles on this stage for the integrity of life's meaning and i pray could ever realize that in my own moments here
because these are our only moments here to throw life rafts to our fellow beings being run rough shod over by them ever 4 horsemen thinking they've met their apocalyptic moment to seize all life
thank you for sharing your journey of personal losses that have helped us know the value of our each relevant voice here NOW
It was Dennis's voice of sanity that got him railroaded out by the establishment Dems, of course. I am so glad that he is willing to take that voice back to Congress, and as an Independent. On the subject you mentioned re: primarying Obama in 2012 - I was wishing then for Bernie Sanders to do just that. I'd like to see Bernie get behind Marianne Williamson ( who helped launch his run in 2016). A lot more to that woman than has been recognized. Amy Goodman's interview has been her best exposure. DNC (a private corporation) & the 'super delegates' pick the Dem. POTUS nominee. How is it Constitutional for a corporation to choose for The People, their candidate?

Have you watched this? Patrick Henningsen interviews Mark Crispin Miller on how 2024 may well be the most corrupt election ever, if it even takes place. I'm surprised MCM still accepts the "two major parties" concept. You should interview him (or have you already?). anything is possible at this point. https://markcrispinmiller.substack.com/p/mcm-on-2024-as-what-may-well-be-our?utm_source=post-email-title&publication_id=383085&post_id=140984184&utm_campaign=email-post-title&isFreemail=false&r=r40u&utm_medium=email
entertaining if nothing else.
The more corrupt the better.
Finally the normies will see that it was a scam all along.
The same thing happened with COVID.
The horribleness of the shot woke up a lot of people to big pharma scams.
I have often written him in for President. I wish I could vote in Ohio.

Yes. i think the same thing faults Kennedy. He comes up with solutions that follow the old timer thinking, not seeing the easier and better solutions.
Perhaps we are evolving to a point where we have better standards of our leaders. That's why they're losing our trust.
As bad as things are, why not, if he wants to? He can't make it worse. As long as his health can handle it.
Well, in any case, we need all the help we can get (on peace).

Sorry. Still a part of the system.
Might as well take a seat at the table and be like the few occasional truth speakers in the right.
The Democrat party no longer allows for criticism of the party's beliefs and actions..

Remember Pat Paulson?!
