McAfee is deluded, but what do you expect from a wealthy jerk?
"A government... which started out with the people being free and the government being our servants. It has become the government is free... and it's the people that are the servants."
Umm, no. There was slavery. Women couldn't vote. Men who didn't own land couldn't vote.
The Constitution was so lacking that people protested.... Many who fought the revolutionary war were losing their farms etc to the banks.
They had to amend it with the bill of rights which didn't apply to slaves etc....
And what happened? "Freedom" to butcher native Americans to kick them off their land.
In the early eighties, John McAfee was my boss and we became personal friends. He was blindingly bright and exceedingly charismatic. He typically would make outlandish statements as a way of assessing one's reaction and intelligence. He said many things he knew not to be true, shamelessly. He might have made the observation quoted above or maybe not. The man was larger than life. I miss him mightily.
He seems to be a true hacker, not just computers but life.
I suspect he really didn't die in prison... The whole story didn't make sense. He was smart enough to stay away from Spain but "went there" to create a story. 😂
Very cool that you worked for him! I can imagine what an interesting person he must have been. Sounds like he really got screwed over by our government.
Jefferson has been horribly and falsely slandered these last few decades…Read “Crimes and Cover-ups in American History”by Donald Jeffries for what our famous forefathers were REALLY like…
I think everybody has a right and a duty to overthrow their fucked up government. I won’t let assholes turn something good into bad by association. That’s the democrats play book.

Thanks for sharing your experience of him.

I’m always pro insurrection no matter who does it. https://odysee.com/@thisweekinfascism:3/January6:9
Even if it's the Clinton Cabal and their color revolutions?

I agree, but the Clintons and USAID are not the people overthrowing fucked up govts.
Yep, they’re overthrowing good governance and being met with the absence of insurrection, and trying to convince us insurrection is bad.
