I am sorry you lost your funding, you and so many others who were brave enough to speak out continue to be punished. I feel the tide is turning though. They're already whining that people aren't lining up fast enough for the new jabs. So that's a start. But ultimately, this may just be how evolution works. In addition to the left's myopia about Covid and the nonsensical draconian policies, there is also ignorance, maybe willful, on the part of much of the left about the devastating fires in Hawaii and other places. All the evidence indicates that these fires were deliberately set, not caused by climate change.
So, I often state that I´m an expat to avoid the toxic environment of an economic ideology that thrives on perpetual war... I avoid any semblance of supporting a business that might need to pay taxes to the usa (e.g. hamburger, taco franchises). SO, I can proudly claim that I still consider myself a true, leftwing socialist. My hope for an outcome in the proxy war being waged in Ukraine, is that NATO disbands...

Of course, for too many the damage has already been done. I really recommend George Romero's 1973 film "Code Name Trixie," later re-branded "The Crazies," for a good dark laugh on this whole subject.

All my friends in the performing arts went covid-crazy believing every stupid, arbitrary, obviously illogical twist and turn of falsie and that CDC woman.
