JFC! What a shit show. Brown shirts just doing their job, hospital choosing to only help those with deep pockets. Fuck them all. I will NEVER go to a hospital, I would rather bleed out in the street.
I used to think that I would go to a hospital if I had a bone sticking out of my body, but I think I'd rather set the bone myself, rub arnica on it, and use duct tape to wrap it up.
Hope your mexican vacay is going well and you're getting well-deserved r and r!
Not so relaxing, lots of medical and dental work being done but I have 10 days to R and R before my final dental surgery. Yes, arnica and duct tape are better than 90% of doctors out there.
This has been going on a long time. I lost my son, Michael, to this mess of a "system" on April 1, 2008. At that time, some 45,000 Americans were dying from lack of access to care. In fact, on the day we found out therre would be no cure for my son, a homeless man in Asheville died because the hospital tried to release him back to the street with pneumonia. He refused, was arested and died in a jail cell a few hours later. I thought the ACA would change that, and his has -- now there are about 68,000 people dying every year. The ACA was a gift to Big Insurance, which has perverted everything about it that worked. I am so fucking sick of human beings being considered disposable.
Not one in the bunch tried to stop this murder. I hope this gets to a group that will ensure they get justice for this poor woman. Absolutely craven and criminal on full display.
Absolutely anti-life and the hospital and police are compulsively fascist.
They can't help themselves at this point, the power of god has been conferred on them by their own egos and the worship of the covidjits who are probably applauding this treatment.
Ugh....I am 65 and I feel like I am vulnerable because of them, but I despair for my grandkids.
Horrible, juvenile behavior, even spraying air freshener outdoors around her. A local county in Massachusetts just opened up police recruitment to eighteen-year-olds because of staff shortages. That'll be sure to make situations like this more common.
We have lost the value of life. It only matters when we are working to elect someone or force a narrative on the populace. There is no genuine empathy. Forget about war on foreign soil, it has moved home and we still cheer for it.
This is so utterly gut and heart wrenching. This was somebody’s mom, someone’s daughter. A human effing being. The entire footage (all video clips) should enrage us all. The hospital staff that refused to treat her and everyone of these officers involved better pray nobody they love finds themselves in a similar situation.
“It’s the Lord’s day...” 😳 I can’t imagine the Lord would agree that coffee and oatmeal were deserved after this shit.
PS: My sis didn't get that thing mailed until Saturday (their dog-child had to be taken to vet. $700 US later...) so please don't await delivery with bated breath, plus? It ain't much.
We are coming apart at the seams as a Nation. It is all about money. Money for wars we have no business in. Money for drugs and Vaccines that kill. I am not sure we are going to pull out of this self-created hell.
I forgot to add money for toxic agriculture that is killing the soil and us.... You want a good read about what is going on? Read "Topsoil and Civilization", by two Midwest farmers in the 50's last century. You can get a free version online and it will even read itself to you.
note she had been to 2 hospitals. and it sounded like the officers were familiar with her. it is a common practice among the homeless to try to get into hospitals to get drugs and fake ailments. cops and firemen deal with this all the time and it is not their job to make an assessment of their health. the hospital declared her well so they work off that. why was it a bother for her to keep sitting there? what a crazy charge by the officers... impeding the sidewalk?? they must not have homeless there... yes, they failed to act with compassion and respect but i also fault the hospital more... if she died soon after leaving what did they miss? did hospital refuse because she had no insurance? all around, it is a sad example of society now -- neither cops or health givers have any compassion.
Cindy, Perhaps the most disturbing, indeed depressing realisations of the past three years for myself (and I suspect so many others) is just how corrupt, heartless, compromised and dysfunctional our hospital, healthcare and medical system has become. Prior to the arrival of the pandemic, with what I thought was good reason, I had no small measure of respect for the profession. No more! Even more disturbing and depressing is the knowledge that it has been purpose built this way; it didn’t just evolve into the monstrosity it’s become of its own accord. In preparing for an in-depth series of articles on the history of modern medicine and healthcare, I’ve realised it’s performing pretty much as has been long planned. Perhaps the most distressing thing of all is that so many of those within the profession seem oblivious to, sanguine about, or indifferent to what’s wrong. The two main caring professions were once considered to be teaching and nursing/doctoring. Not any more. In both cases. ☹️
1st night in hospice, we had to take my mother to the ER because a stomach tube that would help to keep her comfortable was not functioning right. We initially tried to contact Hospiice but they did not respond that night.
At the ER all medical staff was very impatient and not helpful. We sat there for over 2 hours waiting for someone to help us. After medical personal let us know they didn't want to help us because they only help the living, they forced us to go literally yelling at us that they don't help the dying.
I also lost my brother to the COVID protocol in the hospitals. He was murdered.
I will never go to a hospital after the personal experiences I have had and unbelievable stories such as the one you posted today. So Heartbreaking.
im surprised a hospice pt had a feeding tube... that is usually considered life sustaining which is not the goal of hospice. i do not condone any bad behavior by your hospital and we should be able to expect and receive compassion by healrhcare professionals no matter what...but many insurances will not pay for any care outside of your hospice... i would assertively discuss with that hospice why they failed to be available. they were the first failure in that event. sorry for the distress you endured... most hospices are wonderful
Yes we understood that most hospices do not support a feeding tube. We purposefully sought one out that did. Yes, they were the 1st point of failure and apologized profusely the next morning with multiple personnel stopping in to discuss the situation. It was an unusual happening and we had no failure of them to respond during the next 7 weeks of hospice. They were wonderful. They had instructed us on how to get medical care if they were unable to assist for some reason when we signed on. We followed their instruction.
No matter what, there is no excuse how the ER treated us, zero compassion and out right hatefulness. This story was not about hospice.
yes, it's very sad what our medical workers have come to... i often hear the excuse that they are burnt out... well then, find another job. i recently talked to a pre op nurse about this and he said the lack of nurses/burn out is not new as even pre covid they were always in need of more... his thinking was its now more a product of society and their attitudes reflect that... for some its just a job not a passion. kindness is becoming more scarce by the month.
JFC! What a shit show. Brown shirts just doing their job, hospital choosing to only help those with deep pockets. Fuck them all. I will NEVER go to a hospital, I would rather bleed out in the street.
Tears....it's abominable.

Thanks for sharing your and Michael's story.
Everything is connected and the tragic murders (by the system) of our sons brought us together, sadly.
Much love
We can't afford healthcare for American children because we are bombing everybody else's for the love of Jesus and Israel.
Not one in the bunch tried to stop this murder. I hope this gets to a group that will ensure they get justice for this poor woman. Absolutely craven and criminal on full display.
The unprofessional actions of the hospital- 1st!!! The police-2nd is sickening!!! The hospital just has no cameras on them.
The woman was in obvious distress. I shake my head. May she rest in the presence of the Lord now.
I dread my future as get older, when AI robots will care even less than these morons as they do personal care.
Yes, agree.
Absolutely anti-life and the hospital and police are compulsively fascist.

I also am 65 and deeply concerned for my 12 grandkids and 5 children.
SNL Audience is all like:

Hurrah! 💖

It has ruined my day, but none of us should rest easy when shit like this happens.
We need to share her story far and wide to prevent this kind of treatment to others.
Oh. I see she is the wrong color for anyone to protest the police over this. I'm guessing you won't hear about this in the mainstream media.
Well, we have to be the media and share the story.
Hospitals are death-camps any more. This is so beyond disgusting. Cops also are going bananas, killing people for no reason.
Ffs Cindy.
A terrible thing happened to a gal here in Canada. She was beaten by "security forces" and later expired in custody. Of the HOSPITAL.
Don't get our panties in a twist... happens every day...

Damnit. $110 billion for Ukraine while people in the US cannot afford food. FREE Heath-care should be guaranteed for every person on Mother Earth.
