Veterans for Peace members Jane Fonda and others endorsed Harris.

Shame on you. I started a chapter more than 20 years ago. Canceled going to a parade today with VFP. How many so called "Peace " groups have been bought and infiltrated?

Right? Endorsing either candidate betrays the Peace part in their name, but, Harris? Is part of a regime which is ACTIVELY SUPPORTING/COMMITTING GENOCIDE?

Very disappointed to see that Martin Sheen endorsed her.

I do support reclaiming Armistice Day, because armistice means truce and the only way to stop war is first, a truce, and then a negotiation, and then a just peace. WWI was a bloody war it would appear that the USA had no skin in the game BUT that was not true. Empires, including the Ottoman one, were being broken up and zionists, alive and well since the late 1800s in the USA, wanted the USA to have a seat at the table when Palestine was claimed. Truces don't always lead to negotiations that result in just peace. So changing a name doesn't necessarily change a national obsession, but it costs nothing and it might.

So, it was Armistice Day and after that, there's been a century of non-stop war.

I am not impressed. Change it, it won't change one thing.

good luck with the war mongers and criminals in Congress, though.

The "Third World" countries were divided among the Colonizing Imperialists in order to exploit them and control their resources. Which continues to this day....

Countless numbers of people voted for Trump as a hail mary pass, hope against hope, etc. We are raised to support and vote for the duopoly. We are inundated with ads, commercials, messages, propaganda, lies, mistruths, misinformation, disinformation, etc. This is all systematic to keep us ignorant and always wondering what is going on? The rulers perpetuate this to keep us divided and fighting each other. In addition, chaos serves their interests and keeps the people off balance. The "Democrats" blame the "Republicans" and vice versa. They both serve the same masters of war, corruption, and racism. Think of them as mafioso families that agree on the major issues and fight about minor trivialities to pretend to be different parties altogether. Americans are raised to support and vote only for these parties. How else can someone rationalize their vote for the lesser of two evils when it perpetually delivers evil? In addition, many people voted for Trump simply hoping beyond hope that things will improve. I realized these truths many years ago and do not vote for evil as well as understanding that the average American will continue to support evil until our country is collapsing into dystopia when it will be too late to save ourselves.

An armistice is an end to military action and withdrawal of forces from occupied territory.

To become conscious of perpetual War-on-Earth, Armistice Day should be a day to cease all warfare.
