Voting effectuates change like pissing into the ocean alters the tide. It is a weapon of mass distraction for puerile idiots and imbeciles. When the dust settles after every election/selection, the evil Cryptocracy still rules.
I just saw that worldwide many people are boycotting McDonald’s and their profits are.down. They stated that their support of Israel was behind it. Boycott also includes Starbucks and Burger King. True? Who knows.
Busgirl (in a dress) at a Christian diner where we were not allowed to call the cleaning cloth we used a "rag" lol. The owner accused me of flirting with the elderly patrons for tips, yeah right. He had our break room bugged and misinterpreted a joke I must have made. Restaurants are a great place to learn What Not To Do as a manager. The only thing McD is good for is a bathroom on the road.
While Que Mala & Tampon Tim only survive on the MSM's Illusions of Joy, There Are Very Serious Consequences coming After Nov 5th as the democRat Party Commissars seek to avoid the consequences of their Treasonous actions IF Trump is allowed to regain the WH.
From Nov 5 to Jan 20 there will be sElection Chaos and Antifa + Newcomer Illegal Alien rioting in the cities. This like previously will be allowed to come to a rolling boil Until Biden on que from the Commissars then Declares Martial Law.
The one abiding flaw of liberalism is the failure to recognize that the politicians inhabiting the democRat party of Pedo's & Perverts are Controlled by NWO Vermin. To be bi-partisan, the rinoRats are the same, hence the easy collusion of Bush/Cheny/"Hakeem"Johnson with Obama/Clintoon/Biden/Que Mala.
The District of Criminals will Not Go quietly Away due to a mere election defeat. CW looms as 2025 becomes 1775.
Tulsi Gabbard saw the light 4 years ago and announced it further last night, joining the "MAGA" Party, which is Not exactly the Republican Estab Party. A huge political realignment is underway.
I do wish you all well as Liberty loving Americans, but Mr. Jefferson's Tree will be watered by ballots or bullets. The Choices boil down to America First or NWO 3rd World Subjugation, imo.
At 17, I worked for just one day at a J.C. Penney restaurant (yes, there were such places back then), before getting an offer to work at the drugstore owned by a pharmacist from my church, thank goodness! I wouldn't have lasted long at the restaurant. but the pharmacy was a pretty fun job.
Some taco fast food outfit in Redwood City or Belmont, Calif that has long since gone out of business. I was 15 and we had to provide our own white nurse uniform. My vintage uniform from the thrift shop was rejected but it was all I could afford.
My first job at age 14 was working as a peer councelor at a shelter for runaways. I was too timid to do any counceling and basically cleaned up and made snacks & just hung out with the kids who were there.
At 15 or 16 worked at Paragon Park Amusement Park on Nantasket Beach at various food stands including hamburgers and hot dogs, french fries and cotton candy. Great job for minimum wage ! Taught me a lot.
Oh my God. Paragon Park. I was just telling the kids I care for about the Roller Coaster.
I was describing my ride up that hill - slow slow slow - then you reach the top - stop for a milisecond and then down. I screamed like there was no tomorrow. What a blast.
Couldn't wait till I was tall enough to ride the Wild Mouse.
Did a Swim Across America there in 2009. Nearly froze to death.
that amazing wooden roller coaster was disassembled and moved to Maryland I think. I worked right below and across from it at Snackarama. That’s where I met Judy Garland. There’s a piece in Huffington Post about it. I think it was a year before she died. That swim must have been something amazing. Good for you. My mom was a great swimmer. She swam from Hull gut to Boston once where she grew up.
Paper route at young age. Did not last long. Post college worked as an Editorial Assistant in the NYS Assembly writing press releases and distributing cannabis and playing chess. I was a poor chess player and a poor wage slave. It fueled my life long aversion to Capitalism which, yeah verily, continues to the present day.
This system needs to collapse and soon lest the planet itself cease to be a home for human and non human beings.
my first job was at 16 at the Beer & Bratwurst in Woodfield shopping mall. I actually temporarily closed the place down because, not only was I underage and serving beer, but I failed to "card" and served an underage woman (who was older than me--17!) a big stein of Schlitz (or was it Pabst?). But the times were more forgiving. It reopened and I was not fired.
My first job was working in my grandfather's bakery when I was 14 years old. I remember going into his office where grandmom (she ran the office) handed me $15 dollars for two days work. That was an amazing amount of money to me.
I worked there most summers through high school and after I returned home from my first "real" job in New York City.
It was a retail bakery. They baked tens of thousands of loaves of bread each week and distributed them over most of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. They also made the most incredible donuts and buns. People would come from miles away to buy them.
My grandfather migrated to America from Sicily and built the business from nothing. His first bakery even burned to the ground. Undeterred, he built another bigger one.
During the Depression, he baked a loaf of bread he sold for five cents. It was his way, as I think about it, of sticking his finger in the eyes of the bloodhounds who caused the Depression. He and grandmom never turned away anyone who needed food but couldn't afford it.
The business passed to my Uncle (my mother's brother). When the ovens cranked up to full steam, you could smell the aroma of baking bread all over the town in which I grew up.
That bakery was an important part of my (and my parent's) life. Thanks for making me think about it.
PS I babysat for our neighbors' kids when I turned 15 and did childcare at Church every Sunday starting when I was 14 or 15. Next I collated papers and stuffed envelopes at College, starting at age 18. I had never even heard of McDonald's at this point, nor was there one in my town for many years after that. I also was a Counselor at a Day Camp etc. AND NOW WHAT? I value all of my work experiences from the worst - to the best. They taught me how hard people work and how poorly they are treated? as well as how great a place and a position can be, if it is a Public Institution or how terrible it can be in a sweat shop - horrific. Now What - we need all of of us in the street - Millions of us to demand a halt to the Military Madness of our Corporatocracy and to rejoin the Non-Proliferation of Nukes Treaty which the Trump Administration took the U.S. out of and the Biden Administration has not chosen to rejoin. Thus both Russia and China have upped the Ante' and now Israel is threatening to attack Iran's store of Nuclear Materials to which Iran will respond in kind. Meanwhile Israel is massively bombing Lebanese Civilians and infrastructure as well as Yemen and Gaza with attacks against Iran, Iraq and Syria thrown in for good measure. Might as well spread the death and grief while they can. Then what? How about abiding by UN decrees and the U.S., Great Britain, France and Germany agree to a Permanent Cease Fire in the Middle East including for all Palestinians in Gaza and Israel as stated by the U.N. So no- I am not concerned as to whether KH really did work at McDonalds or not. It would seem as though the election is now down to this petty BS instead of humanity across the Globe in the cross hairs of a Nuclear War via Russia and Europe of in the Middle East with the U.S. being THE MAJOR promoter and advocate for WW3 before they even get around tonopenly attacking China. PS McDonalds is everywhere including in Israel and China. I am sure they used to be in Ukraine. About Russia - I have no idea.
Busboy / dishwasher at Uncle John’s Pancake House in Greensboro, NC when I was 15. Later worked as a server at two restaurants and firmly decided a career working in the food industry would never happen.

Can't disagree!
Right on target, Cindy.
I worked at Schrafft's ice cream parlor. It was a blast but also awakened my concern for worker's rights even then...
McDonald's and other trash food joints are the perfect representatives of the pure rot of "our democracy."

Would that Judy Garland encounter have been around 1965-67 or so?
Because my dad was dining at a pretty popular spot in Boston - Boraschio's - and got her autograph for me.
I remember walking to school with it "To Judy, Love Judy Garland"
Can you believe I lost it???? I still have birthday cards from grammar school but I lost Judy Garland's autograph!
That Nantasket water is cold! Your mother is a champ. I signed up for the 2 mile swim. Barely made the 1 mile. I couldn't breathe it was so cold.
My dad swam the L Street carson beach waters all year. Loved it.
Good memories. Thanks!
