interesting (dare I say fun?) discussion. That comment re fear of public speaking being a throwback to the danger of having eyes on us in cave times was something I'd never thought of. The topic brought back a funny thing that my sister who was a drama major once said to me when I was afraid to speak in public. She said that you don't need to worry about people looking at you; it's getting their attention that's the problem! Re the insane people running the country into the ground, I could not agree more. I do believe sometimes that they are unfortunately more representative than we like to admit. Ugh!
