The fear of public speaking most likely is due to the predator within the human species, the psychopath, which the petite bourgeois $cientists won't dare to infer such science since the psychopaths dwell among the ruling class that pay their salaries. How many have been tortured, killed, jailed or bullied for daring to speak up publicly against injustice? Enough to create a fear of speaking in public! $cience isn't scientific! 😐
interesting (dare I say fun?) discussion. That comment re fear of public speaking being a throwback to the danger of having eyes on us in cave times was something I'd never thought of. The topic brought back a funny thing that my sister who was a drama major once said to me when I was afraid to speak in public. She said that you don't need to worry about people looking at you; it's getting their attention that's the problem! Re the insane people running the country into the ground, I could not agree more. I do believe sometimes that they are unfortunately more representative than we like to admit. Ugh!
