About the Dilbert guy's concession story, it's not an our side won, the other side lost; it's a tragic catastrophe with no winners, only a damaged society with damaged individuals all around. :-(

Hey guys, here's a "deep dive" on Scott Adams if you have the time. Bottom line (though in no way summarizing the article), the writer is in sync with your takes on his "acknowledgement." Basically, jaded, ambiguous (intentional according to the author), denigrating (emphasizing the same point Cindy made about his claim to be THE ONE who did the "analytics.") Basically, I feel he basically said, "You anti-vaxxers were just lucky." I wouldn't attempt to challenge this author when it comes to "analytics." Thanks for everything.

Covid reparations? Gee, can we count on the legislature and governor of California to "lead the way?"

Like my contemporaries in the late 70s, I adored Steve Martin. Really glad he did not go into politics in his humor, only George Carlin could really pull that off at the time. No, not Steve, he is king of utter nonsense and he is unabashedly proud of it. Well, there was that time he was "born a poor black child", but if he was ever political it went over my head because I was bent over laughing my @&& off
