PRO MASKS?...Cindy, I actually have been wearing a mask on airplanes since 2000. After every flight I would catch a cold because someone's snot ridden baby would be screaming five feet from me or a guy who just got off the plane from India or Pakistan or somewhere... would hit on me. I wear a mask made in Israel filled with zinc nano particles. I think if a person wants to wear a mask, they should. Wearing a mask may have nothing to do with Covid (because obviously masks did nothing to stop the spread of anything and the masks made people sick) and it may not even help stop a cold but anyone has a right to cover their body parts as they see fit. I do not wear a mask walking around outside. Or in restaurants. Or in theatres.....unless everyone happens to be sick with colds and sneezing six inches from my face. A mask is a personal choice....like voting or not voting...it's nobody's business but the individual's imo....as far as the rich should be more like us...yes I agree but they are rich because they are not like us...they see money linked with power and control...I see money as a way to survive and help others survive...a fundamental difference. But most important, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! You're 48, right?
You should wear, or not wear a mask, but the government shouldn't force us to wear masks, because the science was never there. I wear a mask when it's unhealthily smoky outside, and happy to do so for my own health. That's about it and I can't imagine a situation where I would ever be forced to wear one again. The people that I mentioned who are virtue signaling about their masks aren't doing it for any reason, other than to virtue signal and have people point at them and tell them what good people they are. I used to take airborne before my flights and only got sick if I forgot to do so. But, since I am never going to get on an airplane again, that point is moot.
I am flying in two weeks and I am very concerned about it...Southwest....not because of masks or virtue signalers..because of pilot suddenly dropping dead...is this why you won't ever fly? Trains are so so expensive and tedious across country and just as dangerous...
Yes, that's why I am not flying, plus, have you seen the videos of passengers going cuckoo-bananas on flights? It's a little scary. Then there's the fact that they airlines cannot fully staff and thousands of flights are being canceled. It's a shitshow. Common human decency is decaying. I wish you safe travels, though!
That’s fucking awful. I remember when I was riding my bike and a car full of teenagers shot me in the arm with a BB gun, or something. They hooted and laughed hysterically. That’s not even close to lighting someone’s head on fire but there is little care for others out there.
