I had voted for him in '04, but I wrote off Nader when I saw a clip of him on Democracy Now in 2020, saying that we all HAVE to vote for Biden because Trump is just so awful. Nader's just like all the other Democrats now.

As someone who voted for Nader FOUR times, I can only hope this was some Washington Post writer's idea of a bad joke. It sure reads more like Babylon Bee than real news. But, if true, I can only add Nader to the growing list, including Chomsky, and Sanders, who have lost their minds in their dotage, and have shat the bed and become tools and apologists for the Empire.
I voted for Nader 3 times (the last a write in), with no regrets. Sounds like he took a page out of Noam Chomsky's book. Not sure if this is more a case of Trump or Covid Derangement Syndrome. Nader should know better, Biden's corruption is so bleeping obvious.

Nader has been and still is naive, despite being a nice guy. (Just like Cornell West)
Back when he was fighting for seat belts, he was against disc brakes in cars.
Why? Because he didn't think they were safe. But they are safer and it's funny that semi trucks in the USA are still using drum brakes.
