In regards to John Stewart when I was working in special education at mission high school a few years back he had this genius autistic young woman on the show who was a student at Stanford who developed a special computer program for people with autism. He played a very dirty very childish trick on her. Before the show he learned of a fascination that many autistic people have with glitter and also an obsession with everything having to be in exactly the right place.
Well, before the show that asshole piece of shit had glitter scattered all over the entire stage floor and when she came out for the introduction she had an episode with the glitter running all over the place trying to pick it all up. I didn't like him too much to begin with but I have had nothing but contempt for him since that incident. What he did was remarkably cruel.
I agree with the comments about Jr's hypocrisy regarding his allegedly sincere criticisms of technocracy when set against his VP choice. This stands out for me along with his Israel positions. All three of the main candidates are infested with the "American past historical greatness" shtick, but I actually think Trump might be, at least, somewhat tongue in cheek as he spouts it (might be; the other two hopelessly believe it).
