The real failure of justice is that Trump and Biden and Bush and half of the governors and all of the mayors and all of the public "health" officials haven't been executed for worldwide mass genocide and torture.

This classified document crap is meaningless. Presidents are clearly permitted to see all secret material, and a chief executive NEEDS to see everything relevant to the job. Prosecuting an executive for mishandling the material is silly. He has unique privilege, so it's hard to say what "mishandling" even means.

I forgot what I wanted to say in response.

Looking at my teleprompter, oh, now I remember:

Robert Hur - is that the Great(x10)-Grandson of Ben Hur?

The most important lesson though:

if You get long enough away with mass murder, genocide, child molestation and aggravated corruption - You just say "I don't remember" and keep enjoying the fruits of Your criminal ways.

Because at one point, all genocidal massmurderers enjoy the leniency of the general population for being a "well meaning old man/woman with bad memory".

That's why it is so important to bring them to (theoretical) justice when they still remember - easy to find out, too.

It's not his age that makes him incompetent. He's never been particularly bright, just a conniving smartass. Now his limited mental acuity is rapidly declining but he's still a major league A-hole. And the media is telling us he's our only hope against fascism....😂

Nah, no coin toss -- dementia or NPD, narcicist personality disorder? Mental deroding or mental accuity for Capitalism, War, Trickery, Funny Steal Trap Memories?

Fucking the Wailing Wall White House is not being run by Joe "Zionist/Jew/Irish I'n No Catholic No More" Biden.

Dead Presdients -- a history of psychopathy, racism and just plain fuckers who all needed bats to the head.

Since you rhetorically asked whether anyone else remembers when dementia-ridden Ronald Reagan escaped scrutiny for the Iran/Contra scandal by proclaiming, “I don’t remember”, I rhetorically reply "yes" and recycle this bit of a July, 2022 comment posted to an earlier report of Biden uttering gibberish at a podium:

______________________________________________

Both children and senile adults have an almost uncanny "radar"; as long as their sense of hearing is still functional, they have a knack for picking up and remembering bits and pieces of comments made by the grownups in the room-- especially on topics that aren't meant to be repeated outside the room. The adults are always shocked and embarrassed when the kid, or Grandpa, blurts out such confidences.

A linked phenomenon, especially found in persons suffering from dementia, occurs when they are explicitly advised to avoid mentioning controversial points, or are coached on what they should or shouldn't say to others.

A good example of the latter is when a failing Ronald Reagan gave testimony during the Iran-Contra congressional hearings or the Poindexter trial. I can't be bothered to dig up the actual quotes, but besides scores of "I can't recall" or "I don't remember" responses, the addled old man responded to certain questions by saying things like, "Well, they told me to say (or not-say), X."

That is, Reagan was referring to his handlers' "guidance" or coaching given in preparation for his testimony, e.g. "Mr. President, if they ask you about X, you need to say such-and-such." While racking what was left of his brains, attempting to be either truthful or sly, Reagan accidently relayed aspects of his preparation that he obviously was expected to keep to himself.

Back to the present: I have a settled objection to the traditional question of whether someone is "more to be pitied than censured", on the grounds that despite the "more to be" clause, it presents a false either-or dichotomy. Usually, the answer is "both".

So it is with Biden. I feel sorry for him when he flails and flounders, and I concur with the criticism that his handlers, including (or especially) Dr. Jill, are perpetrating elder abuse. BTW, despite Biden's reputation for being charming and personable, his "Mister Nice Guy" reputation is undermined by evidence that he's always been temperamental, and when his "Irish is up" he displays a nasty, vicious temper.

It's obvious that his legacy predisposition for outbursts of anger has been exacerbated by his cognitive decline; this is a well-known characteristic of dementia.

Anyway, I doubt that the extensive attempts at damage control will succeed, including the attempt to insist that Biden is not only still sharp as a tack, he has now become a victim of politically-motivated "ageism". He doesn't seem disposed to go away quietly, but whether he's persuaded to go gently into that good night or is unilaterally disposed of more harshly, I'm sure that the operation to install a replacement candidate will be another train-wreck circus. I'm stocking up on popcorn. 🍿

I close by shamelessly congratulating myself for coming up with a sobriquet during the 2020 non-campaign that has only become more appropriate as time passes: He is increasingly becoming "The Ghost of Joe Biden (Barely) Present". 🤨

Thanks, Cindy! Excellent points as always. Re: Genocide Joe's dementia, here's another important take on that, which I think you'll appreciate: https://jpstillwater.blogspot.com/2024/02/based-on-his-cray-cray-foreign-policy.html "Based on his cray-cray foreign policy, it's easy to assume Biden must have dementia" about how the gaffes and stumbles pale in comparison to his inhuman and antihuman lust for bombing people.

Dems (and prosecutors) are so dumb to wait so long to charge Trump. They could have easily nailed Trump at any time between roughly 2000 - 2015, for tax evasion (state & federal), fake charity, fake university, assault & rape, and likely tons of other things. They should have done a full impeachment hearing of Jan 6 at the time, as Nader argued, but Nancy said we have more pressing issues. And instead they wait until a few months prior to primaries to charge him, maybe intentionally, perhaps thinking it could help them come November. But in fact it's turning him into a martyr because their hypocrisy is so transparent. We will likely have another 4 years of Trump, and Dems (and prosecutors) can only blame themselves.

I would literally prefer any two random names out of the phone book to be on the ballot, rather than these two jokers.

Biden might be the most coddled president in History; I think he's been 25th Amendment material from the get-go. Practically, the Dems are stuck with no good choices, and keep maintaining the absurd pretense that Biden's doing well when everyone knows he should be in a Care Home. RNC/DNC are no strangers to elder abuse (at least Mitch McConnell has not had any more public episodes of whatever's going on with him, while Pelosi thinks Code Pink's HQ is in China...).

Great article Cindy. I can’t remember is similar to the frequently used I don’t recall. What also could be said here is that to prevent incidents like this from happening again and Biden not remembering important dates, This puts our country at risk and therefore Biden is not qualified to run for president again. Have you been following “kibbutz Blinken” , a group camped outside of Blinken’s home ? They harass Blinken and his family when they leave and return to home, calling him out for his genocide in Gaza, pouring a blood-like liquid on the road, making loud noises, etc. It reminds me of your encampment in Crawford Texas outside Of GW’s ranch.
