Wow - I didn't even hear about this until today, and it was 10 days ago, and 300 miles east of here... but I sure heard about an effing weather balloon! I just read it was a broken axle that caused an automatic emergency brake deployment - wow, whatever happened to safety standards and intelligent design? Then they set the most toxic chemicals on Earth on fire, and tell people it's safe to go home?? Oh yeah, and then it just happened to be in the SAME PLACE that a train derailment and toxic airborne event movie scene (White Noise") was filmed last year??? OMG - and we thought covid was the height of the insanity we would see????

Looked like DemocracyNow this morning had real journalism on US military Bases all over the world and on the ongoing disaster in Ohio. Surprised me. Perhaps Amy is waking up to the fact that the people (even blue no matter who...) need facts about the disasters all around. Surprised me. I had almost given up on DN.

$Millions to Turkey to rescue people. $billions to kill people in Ukraine. still goes on. DC frothing at the mouth for war with China...

I suspect DN might cover the Rage against the War Machine? I suspect that will be infiltrated heavily to show how truly "evil" these anti war people are? So DN will have to cover that, right?

Hmmmm....a step in the right direction?

I wish I could share even a little sense of optimism about DN, but can't. Covering the event in Ohio for them is a minimal threshold we wouldn't even have had to look for 10 years ago. Same with the military complex. With all the other stuff they've either ignored, condemned, or mainstream propagandized since, really, Obama (condemning Assad while glorifying the White Helmets), pushing Russiagate and, then, MAXIMUM TDS, wokeness and Covidianism, they won't regain my respect or support. How ironic. It was on this show that I really learned about Cindy.

the last time I was on DN, I think it was for a protest in DC in 2010.

She gave me 87 seconds, then cut me off mid-sentence.

DN is really awful, but, that is still has any credibility is an indictment on the state of legacy media at this point

Thanks for your comment and of course you are correct. Apologies. I jumped too soon especially after I remember how Amy and DN tackled Julian Assange and have ignored him ever since. Like the criminals at BIGPHARMA much more needs to be done before we trust again. DN is very much a part of the MSM and still take much corporate foundation funds.
