I can’t agree; workers during Lula’s tenure had some of the best statistics in terms of social well being and economics in the history of Brazil; their income grew faster than the rich for the first time ever. Lula is part of a broad coalition it is true, but Lula is running on a program of improving workers rights; he is supported by socialist and communist parties as well. It is not a simple equation, but to say that Lula is like Obama, I just can’t agree.
