Over a week ago, maybe while I was struggling to remove ice-bound snow from my front steps and sidewalk, I acquired a couple of small cuts on my right hand.
One was a sort of nick on the tip of my right thumb; it's small, but in a spot that gets a lot of use one normally takes for granted. It doesn't want to heal, probably because apart from pounding on computer keyboard(s), during my evening guitar-playing I squeeze the afflicted area in order to hold the pick. 🎸

But there are millions of working class people who moved to America when capitalism was still growing and there were lots of jobs available. They moved back home where living was a lot easier and you could still get along on a small amount of social security.

I would be surprised to learn there are working class US citizens living abroad collecting Social Security. But then, the world is full of suprises these days.

There are actually many living in Mexico where Social Security goes ALOT further than it does here....
