Just further illustrates that the divide in western nations (most acutely in the U.S.) is not left/right but top/bottom. Those who rise to the top are the same class of people; they're groomed/indoctrinated in the same universities, go to the same country clubs, attend the same cocktail parties; are screened through the same socio/economic/ideological filter that keeps out the undesirables, i.e. anyone with any trace of humanity. Only sociopaths and psycopaths are allowed in that swanky incestuous club.

All I have to say about this essay is: Thank you for keeping these facts of our lives FRONT AND CENTER! There is nothing redundant about reminding all of us how we got 'here' and who helped facilitate the disaster that is our world. Remember what George Santayana said about history, not learning it and then repeating it!

This certainly applies to all the war criminals we have studied:

“It is war that wastes a nation’s wealth, chokes its industries, kills its flower, narrows its sympathies, condemns it to be governed by adventurers, and leaves the puny, deformed, and unmanly to breed the next generation”- from 'The Life of Reason', 1905

I've been saying for years Barack O'Bushma, and am still a bit surprised that no one has picked up on this portmanteau, if that is the correct literary expression. I encourage any and all to refer to Obama as Obushma. The Presidential heads change, but the policies remain the same.

I called him The Dalai Bama; in 2012, I called him Miitrack Rombama (that was also Mitt Romney's portmanteau--I love that word), but War Criminal Works for me

Funny you should mention Dubya...

I was baking Portuguese rolls earlier, in mum's kitchen (I don't have an oven...) and heard the dumbest woman's voice, blasting from her TV. (Who IS that moron I wondered?)

Went to have a boo at what occupies my mother's morning and mind.

The moron is Dubs daughter who apparently has a TV show.

Her antics were so cringe I blurted aloud "what are you WATCHING mum???!"

What with my mother being so deaf, and The TV being so loud? Mum not only didn't hear me, she didn't even know I was in the room.

"Hypnotized."

Anyway, this loopy middle aged daughter of Dubya didn't fall far from the tree.

Back to your post.

Yes, Jenna Bush is pretty loopy

And the beat goes on...antiwar presidential candidate is being excluded from the primary process. Nobody for President?

Bobby Jr. Is trailing Biden in the polls by 1%. The corrupt Biden family is getting zero coverage from the MSM.

I know Cindy. I share the same distaste for the man, for less poignant reasons. 💔😢

This:

Alicia (Pink) wrote a song about him. Am certain you know it...

Did you know this about him?

https://bushssecretlifein84.tripod.com/

Leola McConnell waited patiently for a woman reporter to approach her, to talk about her story. None ever stepped up.

https://dominantlee.tripod.com/

https://beautifuldommemuse.tripod.com/

So she wrote a book entitled "Lustful Utterances".

She also ran for Governor of Nevada in 2006, and lost, but was planning to make a senate run in 2010.

This is what she said about Dubya:

"President George W. Bush is the most mendaciously dangerous leader of a western nation since Adolf Hitler. On the first day of Senator Reid's leadership in the senate -- the impeachment of President Bush should have been Senator Reid's top priority.

https://leolaforussenate.blogspot.com/2008/02/leola-mcconnell-for-us-senate.html?m=1

Leola MConnell has long since disappeared.

I communicated with her prior to her disappearance. Tried and failed several times to reach out to her, after she fled the state.

I do have reason to believe she's alive and well somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. (Unlike Deborah Palfry, the DC Madam.)

I think Leola got a bit spooked after a few scary things happened in her life after going public about several prominent men's secret lives, including that of George W. Bush.

She bared it all, including their butts, in Lustful Utterances.

Leola Jean McConnell has been keeping a very low profile for 15 years now. (Probably a good idea.

"Lustful Utterances" vanished too. No copies to be found, anywhere.

You're a woman Cindy. And a reporter. Perhaps she'll speak to you.

War Criminal for sure. Back in the 2012 election season my Open Mic name for the political phenomenon was Barack Obomney. Never liked the one Spike Lee refers to as "Agent Orange," but interesting that he's making anti-war noises, so maybe his bone-spurs are acting up?

Obama was an interesting partial exception. He tried (weakly) to escape from the war swamp. He fired Hillary in his second term, and ended the embargoes on Cuba and Persia. Trump restored both embargoes immediately.

Expand full comment

Remember Libya and Syria?

Obama didn't even come close to ending the embargo on Cuba. During his regime, travel back and forth was loosened a little, but Cuba still suffered from food, medicine, and technology shortages (plus everything else). The co-operation between Cuba and Venezuela during Chavez opened up trade with some other countries in Latin America, but Cuba is still suffering under US embargo. Where did you hear that Obama ended the blockade? That's just not true.
