Yeah we certainly could use his blunt wisdom and humor. What he said then is as relevant now as it was then. My pre sleep bed time reading every night lately is his book Brain Droppings. I recommend it highly. Even makes me laugh sometimes... Thanks for this video. There ain't no George around today sadly. He'd probably be in jail? He was very very wise. Take care Cindy.

About the Amish: that’s the key to resistance. The governor of Ohio was asked what he was going to do about Amish noncompliance, and he said nothing. “We can’t round up 30,000 people.” You just need enough defiant people that they can’t round up at once.

"Temporary privileges" - it's not complicated. We could sure use George today. If I vote again I'll write him in.

The camel photo gives me the chills. In the Sacramento Zoo, back in the 70s,, a young girl on her father's shoulder had her arm ripped off by a camel. I've often wondered how she and her father were able to cope with that trauma.
