And I thought Zuckerberg now believes in free speech? You're a gem, Cindy. I mention you often in interviews, as an example of the kind of people that you could find on the Left back in the late 1970s, when I was a card carrying member of the ACLU. You have stayed true to your principles. Not many can say that. Thanks for being you!

More have remained true to principles than you may think, but we struggle to be heard. The dam that holds back citizen rage is full of holes. Visualize the political equivalent of the Texas flood.

Blessed Belated Birthday! Many Happy Returns!

I am banned from 'Twatter' for life for posting the truth about the Scamdemic being a technocratic genocidal total slavery agenda. Am never going back there!

You should know a National Socialist account was perma-banned here recently. Even though I doubt you like "Nazis," you ought to be concerned that legal free speech is banned even here.

Here on Substack? I haven't had any problems.

Yes, I am not in favor of banning any speech.

Thanks for letting me know

Name of the account was “Psedonymph,” yes here. I appreciate that, and I of course would do the same for you. If we don’t all hang together, we will all hang separately.

Happy Belated Birthday! I should have remembered because I knew yours was 9 days after my sister's, and you were born the same year. Sorry for your trouble with FB, but you're probably better off without it. You couldn't pay me to go there.

Crazy. I’ve been banned so many times that I had three Fb accounts at the same time. Recently they totally obliterated the only one that used my real name. Gone. On Twitter it’s been even worse. I am only in it now because I started this latest account through the Brave browser on my phone. That’s the only thing that worked. They could tell it was me through my phone and my desktop computer no matter what I did, but through Brave, it worked. Might be possible to do that with FB as well, might be worth a shot. You’d have to use a fake name though. It’s so f*cked up. “free speech” my ass. One more way they can get past the constitution by privatizing everything.

I look at it as, why ISN’T someone banned from Facebook. Seems to have become a badge of honor. A Scarlett Letter in reverse.

Happy birthday Cindy! You're better off over here, in better company.

I wish I could relate. But when I saw the Pentagon's Project LIFELOG going OPERATIONAL, I immediately decided that I wanted nothing to do with it. And I've never regretted that choice, not even for a minute. The FBI used to have to go through the trash of activists, manually. Now people just hand it all to them, online. 🤦

One time there was some kind of survey, or poll whose results I wanted to affect - that was only available on that platform. So I created a fictional persona, using the name of a minor character, from a Raymond Chandler novel. It worked - just sayin'.

Happy Birthday, Cindy!

I never partook in social media platforms because I am anything but. I have a difficult enough time being social in person.

I have, however, been banned on a substack. How about that.

And not for using fowl language or insulting terms. For simply disagreeing- not always just sometimes - with the host.

Permanently banned. Which struck me as odd given other comments I have read (or had to skip over) during the past 5 years.

Well, all's fair in love and life.

So it happens on all forums, not just the billionaire sites.

the Substack you were banned on was probably by the author.

I have blocked a few people who were very hostile and aggressive to me, or to my subscribers. Not as many as I had blocked on Facebook, though, which can be a cesspool.

I am all about respectful, even semi-respectful disagreement. I have NEVER, EVER seen you be out of line.

Hi Cindy,

Yes, it was by the author, who I think is pretty didactic to begin with. But I was interested in the material on his/her site.

I do have knee jerk reactions to some subjects, I admit, but I have tried over these past years to be respectful of commenters even when I vehemently disagree.

Although I am a staunch free-speech advocate, I do imagine that if I had my own substack there are comments and language I would monitor.

I am not upset at being banned from the site, I was more surprised.

But, live and let live.

Thanks.

I lost two FB pages over posting articles against Hillary in 2016 and II was put in FB jail for the same type of offense in 2019. I got permanently locked out of my X account some time back for an unknown reason and can't get it back. The key to FB is to create another page but it's a hassle, having to start from scatch again with friends not knowing where you went. You're doing the perfect thing with substack and I see your substack a lot more than I check out FB. I don't look at X at all.

i never joined FB or other social media for these kinds of reasons. Trust and Truth are related, like brother and sister! I look forward to the time when the oligarchs have adjoining cells and we free all the political prisoners to make room for them all.
