Love the way, Cindy’s Substack presents her personal stories, reactions and concerns for a world gone mad. One can spend hours researching content based on Cindy’s posts. I’m grateful she’s still here preaching. Social media brought us together, but in the end we bailed to safer pastures. Cindy is an American hero. Please support her Substack. Best to you always, Cindy!
Besides all the work and passion you put into your Substack, your unequivocal freedom of speech allowed by your private forum regardless of varying viewpoints during civil discourse is truly the highest online hallmark. All social media (and Congress) should follow your example as the epitome of expression BY, OF and FOR THE PEOPLE.
Agreed, and the level of discourse in the Comments are, in general, quite intelligent which reflects well upon the author of this space who has also “paid dues” for her honesty and integrity which deserves support.
This is a great site! I'm really impressed with Cindy's grasp of the issues and of course her super-fun style expressing that grasp. I would go "Paid" here but I am currently not generating any revenue, trying to cobble a book together out of my Dissident Voice publishings over the last few years. I'm calling it an unpaid "sabbatical" until I get paid again (Waiting tables for 25 years, I'm 10 months into this bio-economic experiment of "not having a job"). My own Substack will be a year old later next month, so maybe I'll celebrate by hitting that "Paid" button, see what happens...Cheers!
Cindy handles dark subject matter with exceptional literary grace and humor, which to my mind is always a find if you can find it or, better yet, it finds you...
A paid subscription also sends a message to Substack. So far they've done an excellent job of tossing off the censors, proving that censorship isn't an automatic consequence of being in the media business.. It's a choice made by the platform owners. If they see more money going to the "harder cases", it might help to maintain their courage.
As a paid subscriber, I can vouch for everything Cindy said about her Substack. You get a lot of quality content that is worth much more than the tiny cost of a subscription. It's a real bargain, imho. I want to thank you too, Cindy!
