Ron Paul and Rand Paul are very valuable voices against the Neocons and Military Industrial Complex for many years. I congratulate the Republicans voters for ditching the Bush Cabal.

As you know, I don't have any trust in any functionaries, but when someone is spot on, and I agree 98%, then I have no problem sharing. On the Military Industrial Complex, the dad was far better than the son.
Ron Paul was in the devil's pit during the height of the Neocons. He was outstandingly outspoken against the worst time of Bush/Cheney PNAC Cabal! I can't remember if he specifically said PNAC but he did call out the Neocons!
I give a lot of credit to his son Rand Paul for picking up where his Dad left off against MIC. And Rand's rants against Fauci and anything Covid19 are pure gold imho.
Too bad there's never anyone there to hear speeches like his. Congress members should be required to listen to them, but they have much better things to do, mainly fundraising.
Rand Paul did his best job on Fauci when no one else would. He doesn't have the power to criminally prosecute him however. Especially being in the minority.

About 6 years ago Rand Paul gave a great speech calling for the AUMFs to be "sunsetted," calling for a new referendum on funding our foreign wars. The bill that he was speaking for, of course, got voted down by the War Machine Party. He's a pretty slick weasel, but has been a consistent anti-interventionist voice in Congress. He did slip in a reference to the "uniparty" in this speech, so I'll give him a point for that. I think Fauci has the same protection detail as Biden, these birds of an authoritarian feather.
Rand Paul is a lot differrent than his father. Ron and Dennis used to co-sponsor a lot of great legislation to end wars and restore our rights. There are some issues I disagree with Ron on as I'm from the left and more of a socialist, but Ron is so much better than his son on foreign policy and Ron was also more awake on COVID. Rand seems to be playing somewhat to his Republican base and couching what he should know to be true. That said, Rand is doing better than most of the Senators. Our country's Sentors have mostly lost their minds.

Thanks for posting this speech. First time I have seen it. Rand Paul makes many good points. Above all the US needs to STOP sending money and weapons to Ukraine. IMO it is a huge mistake by the sectarian left to reject allying with people like Rand or Ron Paul.
