I have been asking the that very question (if Bidens were Trumps) for a while now. My chewy blue friends still defend Biden without evidence, he’s just not Trump. These are the same people who did not know what the Crime Bill was or Kamala Harris’ atrocious record in CA. They also refuse to acknowledge that until Obama came off the bench in the 4th quarter, Biden was flailing in the primaries (Harris never got a vote). Obama got all the other Dems to dropout and give their delegates to Biden. This has not been a democracy, ever. It was a republic at best. That people think there’s choice is adorable. In the last forty years, Goldman Sachs perfected the model that Rockefeller, Hearst, Morgan, et. al. worked so hard to achieve. No matter who “wins,” Goldman Sachs and their peer group win.

The sooner people can get away from this '2-party delusion' the better. THEY intentionally keep us quibbling about Democrat-this and Republican-that, perpetuating the artificial division between people preventing them from unifying against the "masters" in strength and power. We have NO CHANCE unless we stop the quibbling and use our collective power against them.

This is off topic, but the post awoke some associations to other events which happened recently.

I just read, that Jazz promoter and impresario Meghan Stabile committed suicide at the age of 39. While attending Berklee as a guitarist and singer, she discovered Jazz music at a local pub where jazz musicians held regular sessions.

African American music, represented by Blues, Jazz, R&B, Gospel, and Soul, is the greatest cultural gift the USA bequeathed to the world — unfortunately is has been shamelessly used to conceal the harsh realities of US society.

Meghan Stabile had a traumatic childhood just like Ashley Biden.

What gives me some thought is, that her brother, Mike Skidds, has to set up a GoFundMe in order to pay for Meghan’s funeral.

Meghan Stabile’s death reminds of former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst, who ended her life in January by jumping from an apartment building in Manhattan. She was 30.

Kryst was an attorney who conducted free legal work for prisoners who may have been sentenced unjustly, a fashion blogger, and an entertainment news correspondent. In 2019 she was crowned Miss USA, At the University of South Carolina, where she completed her undergraduate work, she was a track athlete. She had earned a law degree and MBA from Wake Forest University.

Kryst posted an Instagram photo before her death. “May this day bring you rest and peace,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself. Kryst also left behind a note leaving her possessions to her mother.

She spoke openly about her views on immigration policies, anti-abortion laws, and inequality. She supported the Black Lives Matter movement and marched in protests over the summer.

One can only speculate about the motives for her suicide, but statements and obituaries described her as warm, kind, and loving person, qualities which maybe put her at odds with the prevailing social climate.

Nature treats all her children

as she does the fields and forests

In late autumn, as the cold winds arrive

she strips us for the ordeal that is waiting

Our steps grow slower

Our efforts briefer

Our journeys shorter

Our ambitions are not so irresistible

and our hopes no longer wear wings
